only thing i remember from him was kind of a "c y" post, as in "im not spending anymore time in the forum" thing,
but not sure if it was the last time he was on.
There's nothing in his post history that shows any indication of him being disgruntled or upset with the TPU forum.
But don't blindly take my word for it, read his posts yourself:
His posts were pretty much business as usual. This kind of speculation (the "c y" hallucination) is a rather unhealthy way to use the Internet.
And if he really didn't want to moderate TPU discussions, he would have told W1zzard or one of the other moderators and stepped down. There are plenty of netizens (all over the Internet) that left their moderating roles, not just here at TPU but pretty much every single moderated forum (many of which have shut down).
As for the earlier theory that he lost his broadband connectivity, anyone can still find free WiFi without looking too hard (coffee shops, libraries, etc.) so that's not a good justification for his sudden silence either.
He simply vanished.
Unless Mussels or someone close to him provides an update to W1zzard, it's likely that we will never know the reason for his silence.
Since some people don't seem to understand this, it's worth pointing out that there are plenty of Internet accounts that have gone dark without explanation.
