9 blades? I though a prime number was preferred to reduce harmonics.

Pricing of this seems good, so the mediocre performance is acceptable.

One minor criticism is that they only seem to be sold individually which is wasteful (and more expensive). With the exception of maybe a replacement fan on a single-tower air-cooler, people are going to need 3-12 of these in one go. Arctic have been selling 5-packs for years, most manufacturers offer 3-packs now.

I used to buy BeQuiet! PW2 fans and it annoyed me how wasteful it was to buy 25 of them and then throw 25 individual packaging boxes and 50 plastic bags and 25 instruction sheets away. That's a lot of wasted material that doesn't cost nothing.

I can get five P12 PWM PST for only 27,90€ or one for 6,90€. That is still quite an expensive fan.

I think lower cost decent fans like these make for great case fans as it has always seemed a bit silly to spend big money on a nominal improvement (unless you're dealing with SFF and need maximum cooling with minimum fans). I replaced my front fans with P12 Max when those first launched and have been pleasantly surprised at what a good deal they are.

I picked one up out of curiosity and was not particularly impressed by anything but the price, which was only as low as it was because I accidentally grabbed a 3-pin. PWM models sell for around the same price as the Fluctus, so if that manages to be better than the P12 in pretty much any metric, it has my interest.

In my own testing in a Silverstone GD11 with 3x fans the P12 Max performed nowhere near Noctua NF-F12 IPPC 3000 while having similar noise levels according to my db meter.

They also subjectively sound more annoying with a more perceivable bearing noise and high pitch whine. They’re cheap for a reason.
