Well I'm glad it works for you, touch VRAM when under load - Elpida chips tend to get hot. Wouldn't want to ruin your graphics card for a few % difference.
In fact, no manufacturer has increased the memory clock.
I measured with an electric thermometer, the memories increased the temperature a little, but the GPU IC also increased temperature which indicates more stress on the memory controller, I returned to 3000 MHz on the memories as a safe setting.
Room temperature 16°C - PC cover closed - Software: Heaven benchmark - Clock GPU 1202 MHz
Idle:
37°C GPU and 33° C Memory
Load:
57° C GPU and 49°C Memory @ 2500 MHz
59° C GPU and 50°C Memory @ 3000 MHz
61° C GPU and 52°C Memory @ 3200 MHz
Video card consumption
Idle PC 70.47W - 15% (PSU is 85% efficiency) = 59.89 W
Full Load 165.26 W
GPU 100%
18% of CPU (95W)
165W - 15% (PSU is 85% efficiency) = 140.47 W
CPU 18% of 95W = 17.1W
GPU 100% = 140.47 - 17.1 - 59.89 = +-
63.48 W
