The design is akin to the MS Intellimouse in the 2000s

I think it’s closer to the WMO than the Intellimouse, though it’s kinda a mix. IM direct successors are ye Zowie EC series, DeathAdders and the like. Interesting shape nonetheless.

@pzogel
No issues with oil leakages on your sample this time since they went for a different wheel encoder, I assume? Also, wonder why they decided to switch from Huanos to TTCs, most people I talked to seemed to prefer pink dots.

Same encoder type, but different height. I chalk it up to QC/unit-to-unit variation.

I have been using this model for six months now, but the biggest drawback is that the battery is too small. The operable content of the driver is unexpectedly richThe replaceable micro switch design is highly praised. Unlike ROG's latest mouse, it is soldered to the ground.

System Name Bragging Rights
Processor Atom Z3735F 1.33GHz
Motherboard It has no markings but it's green
Cooling No, it's a 2.2W processor
Memory 2GB DDR3L-1333
Video Card(s) Gen7 Intel HD (4EU @ 311MHz)
Storage 32GB eMMC and 128GB Sandisk Extreme U3
Display(s) 10" IPS 1280x800 60Hz
Case Veddha T2
Audio Device(s) Apparently, yes
Power Supply Samsung 18W 5V fast-charger
Mouse MX Anywhere 2
Keyboard Logitech MX Keys (not Cherry MX at all)
VR HMD Samsung Oddyssey, not that I'd plug it into this though....
Software W10 21H1, barely
Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
Yet another 4000Hz mouse that's unstable at 4000Hz.
Thanks for the review, it's cementing my growing opinion that 4000Hz is utterly pointless and unlikely to even work properly even if you (for some insane reason) think you want it.

4000hz does work properly with mice.
But it's indeed unnecessary/useless, unless you have that quantum reflexes with your 500hz monitor with your 500fps+ compatible game.

I think just about every 4000Hz mouse pzogel has reviewed here has instability at 4000Hz.

The competitive edge it provides is - like you say - "unnecessary/useless" but the jitters and inconsistent input caused by polling instability is a very real and very noticeable drawback that will absolutely, 100% cause you to miss your shot, lose the match, and get pissed off with the stupid hardware that cannot do what it claims.

Most people who want high-refresh gaming have 240Hz displays or slower. 144-180Hz appears to be the sweet spot. The 300/360/500Hz panels are ludicriously niche and come with a mountain of significant drawbacks, but even on a 300Hz panel, you're getting at least 3 samples per frame at 1000Hz polling which is already overkill by at least a factor of 2!

Thanks for the review. Just curious, how well does this work in palm grip, with your 19x10 hands?

Reasonably well as far as size and the ability to comfortably reach all buttons/scroll goes, but I'm not a palm gripper by trade, so can't really comment on any further intricacies.
