Hey all!

New here & unfamiliar with benchmarking as a whole, but I'm trying to work on a computer that is experiencing relatively consistent crashes while running games. From what I could tell, I was thinking it's a CPU/RAM problem so I ran a test with OCCT and got these results (attached).

I'm PRETTY sure it's not supposed to look like that haha, but can anyone help me decipher exactly what is wrong?

Are those the results from an overclock, or the CPU and memory at stock settings? If it were me, I'd clear CMOS and start over.

stock settings, and will do

Your CPU is also running hotter than it should -- can you provide a list of hardware for the build? Also looks like you've got some sag in your 5VDC, unless OCCT is misreading -- I'll take a look at what it reports here.

In the interest of getting more assistance, you might also want to ask the moderators to move this discussion to General Hardware.

Welcome to the forum, by the way.

Disregard the comment on 5VDC, looks like it reports similarly here.

Now I'm really concerned about your CPU temperature. Might want to double check the TIM and cold plate mount. And your memory temperature also -- in my RL build if the DIMMs get up over 55C or so I start seeing errors with this.

Yeah OCCT is really good to test your PC stability especially when you OC because it will push AVX on CPU + memory usually if it's stable after 15-20min you should be good to go.....I remember sometimes I could pass all other benchmarks like Cinebench C23,Passmark,Geekbench,Aida64,Realbench but I could easily fail on OCCT so now if it's pass OCCT test I am almost 99% certain that machine is stable.....

What are you using for CPU cooling? Does your case have adequate airflow?

Also post another bench that you can run windowed, such as Cinebench R23 or y-cruncher, alongside an HWiNFO64 window where you can note individual cores, for a second opinion on your temperatures. I posted a screen of OCCT where I ran the same settings as you for roughly the same length of time, and your CPU was measuring almost twice as hot.
