Granzon ups the ante with its GAISC CPU water block featuring a ~3" 1440p 60 Hz panel which you can use as a second monitor inside your PC. The display is fully customizable using Windows, the block has four G1/4" ports to use, the cold plate is large and allows for good thermal performance, and yet there are multiple cons to be aware of.

Eh, a bit more disappointing than I expected. I was hoping the display was more like their simple built-in ones present in their other Granzon parts, with presets built in as a default option without plugging in the HDMI. I also feel that the HDMI should have been a Mini-DP or Mini-HDMI port instead.

I have never messed with one of these HDMI mini screens but have always wondered-- An HDMI display would have to be set up like a dual monitor in 'extended mode'. So how do you keep your mouse cursor from accidentally running off of your main display onto this one? Even if you set the location in Windows to have the second monitor in one of the corners, you could still run off the main screen.

Put it on the top.

I would rather hook it up to some Pi like device and run dedicated stuff on the screen... I can web interface my PC cooling stats simply open browser open using CoolerControl... or simply screw it... run some random stuff there, DragonBall Z 24/7 lol

This should have been USB-C with maybe an optional breakout cable for systems without combined USB and DP.

It would cost a million, I am not even sure a cheap scalers exist with such inputs and footprint... be real.

1440p is ridiculous, the mouse could hoover out of the screen very often indeed and drive me nuts. As a top screen that's where the browser tabs reside, still no good.
Definitely fits Hwinfo in two heights like that, so a touch would have been helpful scroll down maybe. But even with my eyes i doubt how close do yo have to be to read anything.

Just a suggestion, but it would have been nice to have an image of the block installed on a system and in a case so we can get a better idea of the overall appearance and so we can better understand what the reviewer means when they say:

"It's not going to take long before you realize there isn't a lot you can add on this " display which will still be visible, and legible, from your seat a few feet away."

And so we can see how it looks with the cables routed.

On another note, Bykski/Granzon should have covered the entire block in brushed aluminum so you don't see the black POM, or used a solid block of stainless steel instead of POM (this is a high-end product anyway, right?)...would have looked a lot better and a lot more "high end" had it been milled out of a solid block of 304 SS.

Then you could use PVD (vapor deposition of a chromium oxide layer) to make the stainless all sorts of cool colors like those below:

I'm sure it's customizable but that tiny text will be illegible from more than an inch away.

I hated when a lot of water cooling companies started using plastic on their blocks. I only used Kolance when it still was alive, and their full metal blocks. I get it, it is cheap and easy to make, thus easier profit.
But it is a freaking plastic. Water cooling should look cool, and that plastic does not. The one exception is when it clear to show colored liquids. But even then, I would rather show of the liquid through a distro plate rather than water blocks.
