If anyone is wondering, yes it plays surprisingly well ! The 6600XT was aquired during the pandemic for 180$. Then got the Neo Odyssey for a steal also ! But the 6600 XT is lamenting ah ah.

Becasue they need the positive response for their self esteem. That "Oh", "Ah", "Is that a great system",... In my youth it was the same with tuned cars at the villages fontain. Nowadays that "Fast and Fourious"-syndrom.

My literal desktop is in my System Specs tab. My daily driver is an MSI GL73-8SE that I added 16GB of RAM to so it would switch over to Dual Channel. It almost functions as a desktop as it rarely leaves my other desk.

Btw. Not for everybody it is a hobby. There are also people assembling, building and using their rig in a professional way. There are also people who don't game on them. And also they might have questions about a system they built and want to have'em solved.

That's wrong. My rig's are for maknig money. I'm mainly here to keep track of the actual technical things. I'm not asking others what i shuld take or not. I do not play that OC games. So i.e. i did read about that EKwb story. I decided what I will do on that case. Just on my own without asking somebody else. But here in this thread i was wondering, what it was about. One user asked a question and i answered explicitly this. I havent stated my persnal opinion in any way. I answered with the pure logical psychological reasons. It seems that a lot of people are offended by looking themself in a mirror. There are a lot of influencers out there on Youtube and much more who listen (and pray) to them. They cite them and take every single word for real. Should i stop use YT because of that influencers i ignore in general? In a few weeks/month there will be a new generation of AMD GPU's hit the market. They will reviewed like no good. The reviews will be written with a positive and negative touch. The only thing i want to know will never be tested. So i take the pure technical data sheet and forget all the written words about. I will not ask which GPU i should take. I will not ask if it was a wise decision. I have that self esteem to decide myself. A lot others don't. So let them ask.

The only desktop/PC I have is the one under the system spec's tab.
Most likely its gonna stay like that for a while or well at least until the second half of 2025, thats when I might upgrade my GPU depending on how much money I can save up and what will be on the market in my budget range.
For now it gets the job done, plays everything I'm interested in so I'm not exactly in a hurry to upgrade. 'I do get the occasional itch so I guess its a good thing that I can't afford anything atm'
