Do GPU manufacturers release new BIOS?

As you know motherboard manufacturers often release new bios updates for both increasing security and increasing performance, or implementing new features. Is this also same with GPU? Do GPU manufacturers update the bios? If so, how could I reach these new and official updates? My gpu is MSI suprim rtx 3080 and I want to stay updated.

The only time a firmware is released for any hardware is to fix a specific problem, if you are not having a problem there is no need to screw with it.

Even auto update tools that msi, gigabyte, asus have, actually have caused firmware to brick because it automatically downloaded and installed the wrong version needed for a piece of hardware

Generally speaking, no they don't provide GPU vBIOS updates. If your card needed an update for some reason, it would be available on MSI's site.

If you want to know more about your specific card, start by giving a picture of the part number sticker on the card, and a GPU-Z Screenshot.

Then while you are in GPU-Z click the black arrow next to the UEfI check box and attempt to upload the bios to the VGA Bios Collection.

You should be prompted that the bios is already in the collection with a link to it, copy and paste that link here please

The last time I saw any gpu maker release an update on the pages was for the RX 5600XT to increase the ram Speed from 1750 MHz (14Gbps) to 2000 MHz (16Gbps) since GDDR6 is octopumped compared to gddr5 being quadpumped.

Basically LHR cards were designed to not be advantageous to miners, so LHR is good.
