Hi all,
I have since early September an HP Firefly 14 G10 A the version with the Ryzen 7 PRO 7840HS.
Since driver release 23.9.2 I started having problems with AMD software:
the driver automatically installs AMD Software: PRO Edition even though I downloaded the regular drivers and did not choose the Pro version in any way,
also tried with the preview drivers getting the same result.
I continued to use version 23.9.1 because it was working.
Yesterday I tried to format the PC but without success,
I still have the same problem with every version newer than 23.9.1 and now even the driver provided by HP (that seems to have been updated some week ago).
Tryed also Amernime (choosing, where possible, always Adrenalin as the software) getting the same problem.
I don't use auto detect and I always manually choose the driver from the AMD website in all my tests.
I've always used this link: AMD Ryzen™ 7 PRO 7840HS Drivers & Support | AMD until the link started providing, obviously wrong, Vega/Polaris driver
pretty much the same week I started having the problem.
The lastest version that i test (23.10.2) it's downloaded from Release Note page, for the old versions came from old downloads that I still have saved.
In between testing the versions, I repeated the entire Windows installation from 0 to make sure everything was deep clean (I tried in some cases even with W10).
Do you have any ideas?
