The normal version, the airflow was quite a bit more expensive than it when I bought it back in 2022 though I have no issues with temps in this case.

I think what @Chomiq referred to was that the backplate looks like it's bend

But I guess that is optical delusion due to the angle of the picture. Might as well be my curved monitor :roll:

The perceived bend is just lens distortion. There's no curve to the back plate other than the rounded ends.

I was a weird angle that I almost never use.. also the first pic that I took where I can see what lens distortion is.. it does look bent. I opened it all up, and it would be broken if it was really bent like that

I bought a new PSU, buy a bit of extra power for longevity...

Then I forgot that this thing is longer than standard PSU, plus it's modular so it needs extra space for modular connector. Which of course it hit the 3.5 in HDD caddy just besides it. So now my HDD sits besides the soundcard in the main chamber, unscrewed, with one of the fan on the front removed so the SATA and power cable can fit through.

Bought a new case as I mentioned in Latest tech purchase yesterday, case is very roomy I love it. I only put one exhaust fan yesterday and noticed the HDD gets warm-ish at 42C so I put a 2nd fan as intake and put it from side bottom blowing gently to the HDD

How it looks from business end, there is only one HDD that I can placed behind the mobo but since I need two I use the HDD caddy from old case to the new one. I screwed it to the bottom radiator/fan mounting position (notice the fan splitter, since I need two for both my case fan, and mobo only have 1 header so...)

There is no filter for the side-rear panel of the case but there is one for bottom radiator so I relocate the filter to the side panel

Ah whatever it will filter some dust :laugh:

You are better placed to determine this based on your cooling and other factors. Have to wonder if case wasn't designed that way for excess positive pressure to leak out. Removing concerns of dust making it's way in.

Even with fans barely running except cpu/gpu during cooler weather. 1" open gap on either end on the top of my case lets in almost zero dust.

That place is for exhaust vent. The filter at the bottom suggest the bottom fan is the intake fans. This is the promotional picture of the case. I will monitor how dust accumulate over time

Usually the side fans are intake, but for promotion pictures brands always use the "clear" side of the fans. Usually you need reverse fans for them to work as intake in such conditions.

not necessarily true, manufacturers will put filters everywhere just for flexibility. The case i have has filters on top as well... doesn't mean the top is intake

This case got top filter too. So it got two filter: one bottom and one top. I don't know why they don't put filter on PSU intake at the back
