I just upgraded my Quest 3 128gb to 512gb. I finally pulled the trigger on replacing my Glorious Model D wireless mouse. It was a great mouse until it started having disconnects and having to keep it plugged in all the time pretty much took away the wireless aspect. I picked up the Razer ps5 controller charger on the last big Amazon sale for around 15 bucks. I haven't tried it yet. I really didn't want to get back into the Razer eco-system but I have nothing but good things to say about the mouse.. The software is still trash but I don't need to keep it installed because the mouse doesn't have any RGB. One big huge thing is that this is the second day using it and it still shows 100% battery charge. I would have had to charge my Model d every night this even goes for my Model O 2. I blame all of the RGB lighting killing the battery. I might replace my Model O 2 with the new Model D 2 but honesty the software isn't great either.. lol

Either way I'm ready for Batman Arkham Shadow.

what color is your hyperspeed mouse? that looks like a metallic silver, its either a camera error, or the most badass mouse from Aliens vs Predator spaceship I have ever seen.

also grats on the Quest 3 upgrade... I most likely am going to get the Quest 3S, between Batman being free and I can probably get a lot of older games like beat saber really cheap, should be some good times incoming

Because I need to go through a bunch of old CDr's and DVDr's but have no room in the case for a DVD drive I have a drive but needed a way to connect it so I got this bit of a shit though as I needed to supply my own 12V DC wall adaptor because no way was USB3 going to supply 12V despite it saying supports 2.5/3.5" SSD/HDD

New tires for the reborn 540.

1729456507256.png

Should look a little like this when its thrown on except minus the white bar tape.

1729456709425.png

I use black bar tape because it hides dirt and grime so will last years before I change it.

I normally dont like coloured sidewalls either but it does fit this colour scheme well and give it more of a classic look.

The wheelset is going to be this one:

1729457277024.png

Although I do like the look of the Mavic wheels the guy is using. Its all about the white decals which pulls the look together. The Cosmic's look better than the Aksiums the owner is running. Im assuming the bike in the picture is the 540 its stock form as that did come with Aksiums. Owner of the bike above is also running TT bars which is also rather questionable given the fact he's putting himself in an aero position but doesnt have aero wheels on. Im not quite sure what the owner was thinking.

Anyway. The Cosmic's:
1729457388243.png

I could in theory get myself a nicer looking pair of alloys but Id want some carbon wheels to run during the warmer months. The greatest thing about both bikes now being 11 speed is I can swap wheelsets, so i can in theory run my 55s on the 540. Although Im looking at getting a some 40-50mm carbon wheels if i had to get something. I like the 55s i bought over a year ago but I dont think they are great in urban environments where there is a lot of stopping and starting. (55s are fast but they are slower at picking up speed/momentum from a full stop)

::EDIT::

The tires are also cheap for what they are. Most places are charging £54-60 for one.

Yeah the mouse on the box is super glossy and I noticed that as well. It's just black. Also, the quest 3s looks like a solid upgrade. I'm probably going to pick one up for my daughters at some point. Well one for them to share. Batman looks so good. When I first set up the new quest 3 it let me download the game. I was excited and thought maybe I got early access.. but it just downloads like 50mb and then when I launched it just had a black screen with the batman logo telling me it launches on the 22nd.. lol

Very cool device. I agree with Frick though, it's a little on the small side. It's supposed to mimic the look and feel of the Gameboy, and that it does well.
At $60ish it's still a great deal.

Personally, I prefer this one;

Better form-factor, full Android and better specs. Granted, $185 too. To me worth it.

im tempted! First time seeing these devices and the abundant positive reviews.

I just checked their website... RG35XX preceded with the newer RG40XXV. Looks like the main difference being a larger screen and the addition of an analog stick. The downgrade being, they added RGB for the stick (eww). Either way... im literally on the edge of my seat to pull the trigger (hold me back plsss)

Had they left out the joystick I would have gotten that instead.

Aliexpress delivers again.

I got some unexpected goodies in this one - Huananzhi actually shipped the board with both a cmos battery, a tube of thermal grease and a sticker giving the manufacturing date (6 Oct 24 - the day I ordered it), and batch number. I'll be using this one for my budget intel build. It will replace the Soyo B660 board I purchased earlier this year. The 660 board works fine, but Soyo, for whatever reason didn't implement the full capabilities of the 660 chipset. The nvme slot is PCIe 4.0, but none of the other features were used, for all intents & purposes it is an H610 board. They did correct this with their B760 board, and provided the functionality of the 760 chipset. I went with the Huananzhi board because I didn't have one of them.

The Huananzhi board has 2 Nvme slots, a M.2 wifi adapter, 4 sata ports, a 4.0 x16 slot for the graphics card, and a 3.0x1 slot for something else - which in my case, will be for a 2.6 gig nic card ($8.99) I have from an earlier order.

No heatsinks for the vram, but I do have a whole bag of those I purchased for $1.

That is TPU's marketing link tracker for Newegg links. This exists so that any Newegg link that is posted and originates from TPU provides TPU a bit of revenue from Newegg. You should unblock(checkmark "Don't warn me again" and then proceed) that one. TPU and Linksynergy are harmless, no privacy or user tracking concerns.

Edited for clarification.

pretty similar packaging and content of the like from Donnau, Kurz Ersa or Stannol but 3-4 time cheaper ... (and 26g instead of 15g)

if the pricing in Switzerland was not so obscene (heck even Goobay product are 3 time pricier than their usual ) i would buy locally
in stock on Galaxus.ch from Donnau, Price: 11.90chf        that's almost 2 time the price i paid for the kit

ATX open test bench just ordered today, to start going through my card collection and testing / benching cards. The board that'll go on will be the Asrock 775Dual-VSTA, as I will be able to test any kind of card I own on it, be it a PCI, AGP or PCIE. looking forward to getting through a lot of the PCI and AGP cards on this one.

WHYYYYY DID YOU GUYS SHOW ME THESE ANBERNIC MACHINES?! Now look at me, I've joined the retro gaming cult! :respect:

My last handheld was a gameboy, which was donkey years ago. I didn't even know retro gaming was getting this type of attention and at these amazing price points ($50-$100). I couldn't resist. I spent the last couple of days waiting for the Anbernic RG CubeXX to release and it finally went online. TRIGGER PULLED!!

I got it in white 32G + 256G

Finally something to do when on the move without killing the phones battery.
