Those be some very expensive capacitors; I wonder what you got them for?

This is slightly bigger. :pimp:

Not buying it, but was interested.
I am just eyeing the Bambulab eco-system. I really like their approach to the 3D printing. And their slicer is based off Orcaslicer, which is current "KOH", so yeah....if I had the funds I'd definitely pull the trigger.

FDM, not Resin. ;) There are only a handful resin (MSLA) Printers bigger. Phrozen Sonic Mega,... For a longer run the Peopoly YXL V2 is really interesting.

I see more and more of these even up here in the North East. Really a 3 season mode of transpo up here. People get around the city pretty easily it seems. Used to be lots of the larger segways around as they were invented and originally built in my city. Enjoy!!

I guess you have looked, but Polaroid with their return seem to have some nice instant photo stuff. They get you with the paper though (as usual). I don't own any, so I can't speak from experience.

This single pack comes down to €0.20 per print and is lab quality and postcard sized. Polaroid comes in pack of 20 sheets for €10 a pack on promo, I paid €20 for a single pack. So 40 photos vs 100 photos. Also 2:3 vs 4:6 so Polaroid prints are half the size.

We rarely give each other gifts but I think this will be actually useful for her.

I finally decided to get my "dream phone"...

...a Sony Xperia 5 III.

The criteria I set for my dream phone are as follows: OLED screen, flagship specs, front-facing stereo speakers, headphone jack, microSD expansion, ease of repairability, and ease of hackability.

The Xperia 5 III checks basically all of those boxes, and I've been wanting to get one for a while. But I've been leery of getting one "new" from China and then running into headaches while trying to install LineageOS.

But then this one popped up on eBay, and it was too perfect. It already had LineageOS 21 installed and came with a case and screen protector preinstalled. It was $300, which seems like an okay deal?

This phone has a Snapdragon 888 (1x X1@2.8GHz, 3x A78@2.4GHz, 4x A55@1.8GHz), 8GB of memory, 128GB of storage, and a 6.1" 120Hz OLED display. Most importantly, it also has the aforementioned headphone jack and microSD slot and is relatively easy to install custom ROMs onto. Repairability could be better, but from what I've seen and heard, it's not too bad.

I intend to use this as my primary phone. I've already gotten myself moved in (LineageOS SeedVault is really cool), and so far, the first impressions are pretty good. It emulates Switch games significantly better than my previous phones, which is fun.

My only concern with this phone is that it may fall victim to the dreaded green line of death issue that apparently *all* 5-series Xperia phones are susceptible to. The only solutions to that issue are a screen replacement or finding someone with that fancy "laser eye surgery machine for OLED displays." I will be running the display at 60Hz, which can apparently help prevent the issue.

Congrats! I been eyeing on 5 III for quite some time, reason you already mentioned plus few more like it's small size and dedicated zoom camera. But I'm worried of buying things I wanted as most people say 'never met your heroes'

There is some truth to the "never meet your heroes" thing.

I got my attainable dream car almost 4 years ago (a 2011 Volvo C30), and while to this day I absolutely adore the thing, it's also been pretty expensive to maintain (though it's mainly been crappy plastic parts and bushings that have been failing with age). I have no plans to ever get rid of it, and I figure fixing this car is still cheaper than getting something else. The next thing it needs is new rear suspension components to fix a tire wear issue I just discovered the severity of.

The Xperia has been great so far, with a few minor issues. Yesterday, I was trying to take a picture of some sundogs that were visible in the sky when suddenly the camera stopped working until I rebooted. It also runs extremely hot under heavy loads, with an SD888 crammed into a relatively small phone with very little cooling.

It's damn nice for the price. 1300W unit comes with an extra cable than the lower watt models. A 2x8-pin to a 12VHPWR 16-PIN.

last night my brother ordered a new controller for me, it might be local branded but looks promising according to reviews. Supports both xinput and dinput, only ₹1500 and comes equipped with type c and 14hrs of battery backup which is inbuilt. My brother wants his xbox controller back so i had to buy another for myself.

I bought Xiaomi TV Box S 2nd gen. My wife bought some crappy android box from TikTok shop that restart everytime I look at it funny, really it restart when it positioned wrong or nudged by kids. I'm furious she didn't ask me first wasting money buying crappy stuff like this, she say 'its because its cheap' well duh it's cheap for a reason. Damn thing can't even watch anything at 720p.

Comparison of size, Xioami feels heavy and solid. That damn box is big but flimsy and crappy feeling

But in the end it's only for watching Baby Shark or Angry Birds by my daughter, The Panasonic TV is over 20 years old and being through a lot, but image quality still great for it's age and render 1080i fluently, I never seen this TV looks so vibrant.

last night my brother ordered a new controller for me, it might be local branded but looks promising according to reviews. Supports both xinput and dinput, only ₹1500 and comes equipped with type c and 14hrs of battery backup which is inbuilt. My brother wants his xbox controller back so i had to buy another for myself.

controllers are so expensive these days for some reason. I remember buying my Logitech F710 for 2500rs. I was looking into buying another one and was put off with the high prices. Makes no sense that it costs double now?

8bitdo brand is what you want. it's what I use now, they are cheap and have hall effect sticks for only $19 shipped and sold by amazon. I have 3 8bitdo controllers now and not a single issue

Those be some very expensive capacitors; I wonder what you got them for?
Not expensive for the grade.

Needed to make a Noctua fan swap on my UPS work.

Temps in low 40s and I can't hear it anymore so job done.
