hey guys! I really need your help here
Specs;
R5 5600 PBO on i tried pbo disabled and same issue
ram kingston fury beast 8gb*2 3200ghz
Asrock rx 6600
Asus b450 mk2
Msi mag 600
SSD adata SU680
like everyone im suffering from the frametime spikes. tried everything to the point where im just tired
I had other form of stutter which is fixed by disabling CPPC and CPPC preffered cores in bios.
Only the random spikes are not gone
While monitoring CPU usage and fps when the spike happens not randamly ( ill explain below ) the cpu usage will go up for examlpe from 40% to 55% then drop down to 40%.
ill explain it in the simplest way; imagine everything is smooth for 30minutes a sudden explosion happens BAM!! frametime spike and frame rate drop from 60 to 57 then 60 and cpu usage go up and drop down. Its like the processor isnt processing if you get me or it was slow to process i dont know.
Everything is up to date. TEMPS are fine!
I thought it was ram latency so i tested with aida64 and it was 69ns
So i started poking around ram and overclocking and i really felt a different and the spikes are not as often .
i raised the speed from 3200 to 3600 Idid not raise the ram voltage its 1.35V and i raised the CLDO VDDP from 0.9v to 0.94v i saw it somewhere. and messed with the timings ( searched ryzen 5600 ram latency on google images and copied the timings ) i tested with prime95 for 3 hours no errors.
stress test
while gaming the temperature never goes up 55.
i think the culprit for the framerate spikes is the voltages. Are my voltages okay or i messed up? Should i raise them more? Is the SOC voltage too low? i really wanna get rid of this issue.
Your help is very appreciated! thank you
