Everything turns on when cpu isn’t plugged with the psu, fans spin, ram lights up and no lights other than the red cpu and orange dram leds turn up. When the cpu is plugged in the psu nothing works, absolutely nothing turns up other than some blinking leds on the ram or the cooler, no fans spin and blinking lights on the mobo, red cpu, green dram, blue gpu and nothing on the other led.
mobo: b650
cpu: ryzen 7600
32gb ram ddr5

Tell us about your power supply, which cables are you using, where did you plug them in, and did the cables come with the power supply?

the power supply is a 800w modular psu from Tacens i think, all the cables have been plugged in correctly. All the cables come from the psu. Everything turns on only when the cpu cables are not plugged in the psu

I am afraid, you bought crappy brand of power supply. If do you have chance test your rig with another power supply, do it and let us know.

You need special equipment to test psu w/o another computer.
I have another idea, but need more info about MoBo. Exact brand and type. What version of BIOS is there? Is possible your MoBo can't work with cpu due older version of BIOS. You can try update BIOS to newest version and you will see.

32GB of Ram, is that two or four sticks of Ram?
Are you sure you used the correct cable to the CPU and not a PCI-e cable?
Are any pins bent in the socket?
