Is 60 degrees too hot for a m2 nvme pci-e 4.0?

Your ambient temperature is just too high. It will definitely affect the inside of your case, and it apparently doesn't have as much airflow as it could, and since we don't know the model it could also be a terrible one regardless how many fans it has. Still 64°C on the SSD is not exactly worthy of being scared just yet

i bumped the case fans to 100% rpm , lets see if it helps a bit

is there some software that i could fully stress it 100% maybe ? i downloaded and played some games on it but the usage is still very low

i have a adata legend 800 and it idles at around 50-52 degrees and peaks at 60 degrees when gaming

i´ve installed the heatsink but not the pad that goes below it ( doubt it makes a difference )

it is installed above the gpu

is it too hot ?

It's definitely on the warm side. But it's not out of spec. If your drive starts to push above 70C, it'll be time to invest in some cooling of some kind. If you take a picture of the inside of your PC we can offer tips & ideas for cooling it.

i´m wondering if it is worth to remove the heatsink that came with the ssd and try to use the on that came with my mobo (TUF B550M GAMING PLUS )

Keep in mind different SSD's will likely have different temperature sensors. Higher quality ones will at least give you controller and nand temps were the sensor is actually near the controller and nand where they need to be. Cheaper quality ones might only have one sensor just somewhere on the PCB and if your really unlucky no temp sensor at all. All you really need to do is keep your controller temp in the nominal range of your SSD specification. Nand should be somewhere between warm and hot that's fine and necessary.

Your SSD's operating temperature is 0 to 70c. I wouldn't worry too much since 65c is in the range. Install and run HWiNFO64 and let's see what temp sensors you have available that it can see for your SSD.

There probably are more intensive tests but if your typical workload is in the nominal range for your drive (0c to 70c) then I wouldn't worry as long as your device isn't throttling. You can try for a better heatsink and airflow but unlike other PC parts it's not necessary or desirable to get an NVMe to the lowest possible temperature. 45c to 60c is just fine in my opinion.

i got m2 just to get rid of the sata cables ( hell even got a modular psu to organize the case )

i´m wondering if there are better options in the price range ( or if they run lower in temps maybe)

performance wise it is very good , fast enough for my needs ( honestly i havent noticed difference from my 500mb sata )

I have no idea. To compound that question SSD manufactures are sneaky and swap out components sometimes without changing the model numbers over time. Yours has a 3 year warranty so if something goes wrong keep that in mind. Better drives may have longer warranty periods. Generally if you look at the price range and choose something in the middle that's not a QLC drive you should be fine.

I used to use Crucial P1 and P2 drives for gaming and those many would consider as crappy QLC drives but they were just fine. Never a problem at least for me.

In addition, SSD vendors typically provide their own toolbox for their SSD's so you can see device health and SMART status as well as keep the SSD firmware updated.

The motherboard heatplates are really very good when they're engineered right. I took a minute to look up that board and that heatplate looks like it would work very well. It's worth a try!

i can´t put this plastic on the first slot ( won´t fit )

i´m almost sure this plastic doesn´t make any difference right ? (just the heatsink that is below it )

Plastic? Usually motherboard NVMe heatsinks are some kind of metal with a thermal pad underneath often covered with a blue or clear plastic sheet you need to take off. You would need to remove the heatsink from the NVMe (if it came with one) before using the motherboard heatsink otherwise it won't fit.

Nice you found a video that shows you exactly what to do. That NVMe, in the video, didn't have a factory installed heatsink so no obstruction to use the motherboard heatsink.

Yours (copied your image below) has a factory installed heatsink. You would have to remove it to use it correctly with your motherboard heatsink instead. If it's a PITA to remove (or you don't want to risk damaging your SSD trying to remove it) then you could just keep it as-is and not use the motherboard heatsink. The advantage with the motherboard heatsink is it looks to have more mass and also it's longer so more surface area so it will probably perform better.

there is a pci ex 1 blocking the way

Looking at your motherboard website it seems your top M.2 doesn't come with a motherboard heat sink. Don't cut anything. If you really want a better heat sink you will need to consider other options.
