I loved G-Gundam. The ending is a tad bit silly for a gundam show, but some of the coolest gundams ever. The nano-suit that mimics your actions is one of the coolest ideas for mobile suit control systems too.

Mainly talking about the plain colour background with the alien/monster style highlighted in black. Also the black and white alien they showed right at the start was clearly inspired by this:

Watched first 3 episodes from the 2nd season of Arcane (league of legends) on Netflix today, and IDK... Maybe it's been a while since I've watched the 1st season, but I feel it kinda dropped the ball, both story and plot wise. Thankfully the art style is still consistent. The last 6 episodes will go live at November 16. and I hope they'll direct the things the right way, without too much of usual agendas Netflix is known for, if you know what I mean. Though Korean and Japanese anime studios are the only reason I still occasionally log in to that POS.

Oh and BTW, call me a wierdo (if it makes sense in this thread), but these two are hot AF.

I will have to see Lodos war, heck I need to watch Sakura Wars/Taisen to finish it, same with Cyborg 009 (2000s). I've been watching some You're Under Arrest, thinking about watching Gunsmith Cats too. I like 90's Trigun, the 2020s Trigun was ok, only the title song was really memorable.

I don't think I will even be able to finish Bleach or Naruto Shipuuden.

I preferred the dubbing of One Piece by 4Kids, just weird hearing Funimation dub of it, Zolo's voice matched him from the 4kids dub.

Macross was Robotech: The Macross Saga for me, I couldn't get into Southern Watch or Mospeda.

There was an animation that i believe was tried to be tied into ROBOTECH/macross, it dealt with a Bike Gang Leader in the 2nd ova or something.

I prefer handdrawn cartooning/animation over cgi, cgi seems clunky like stop motion claymation, don't get me wrong, I like Gumby.

You have to be 100% cool with Subaru being the dumbest main character in all of anime though. It's really hard for me to watch as Subaru is just too dumb for me to root for him....

Also Kara no kyoukai is one of the best animations I have watched with great story...
Mardok scramble was really good...
Patema was a really good movie to come in recent years as well...
And then you can safely watch anything Makoto shinkai and Miyasaki have done as every single one is an oscar candidate. Miyasaki even won his second oscar last year with "The Boy and the Heron", I though it was pretty close with Shinkai's own Suzume in quality...

Just talking movies here, all with outstanding quality...

You're not meant to like him at first. It's part of how he grows as a character. He's still not OP or any of the other isekai tropes. It humanizes him more and gives more depth to the series over the standard dime-a-dozen ones that get put out.
