Seems to be working/stable. Speedtest before/after roughly the same. (Used the usb-pc one)

Tried to install the Intel app but got no hardware detected, which I assume is expected at this point in the testing.

yea, exactly :) will do it later on after making sure everything is stable :) by the end of beta testing, we will have Intel Wi-Fi and Ethernet being used & seen & taken advantage of by Intel Killer App ;)

Thank you so much for testing & report results :toast: , I really appreciate your time & kindness :respect:

Thank you so much for your kind words :respect: Both are supported :) I have made two versions, One for laptops and one for PCs since Laptops doesn't route there ethernet through USB controller while PCs it routes directly through USB controller ;) Here download from the attachment of this comment :toast:

Changelog:-
  • Updated elevation script to prevent rare issues with some users who gets stuck with no progress
Install successful and will give it try and see how it goes

Yes, I am :) here, try this one ;) currently will be working on updating the Inter Killer Performance Suite to the latest version available because they have just released it today couple hours ago :D

+ I have added a first Intel Killer Suite installer for both all Ethernet models & all Wi-Fi, follow the Installing instructions :)

Installing instructions:-
  • Simply download the file (Intel-KillerIntelligenceCenter-Installer.zip) [It's on the attachment of this post]
  • Extract the 7z or zip file. [Use 7zip]
  • Simply run Setup.bat file
  • Go to MS Store and Install Killer Intelligence Center or Simply get it from here
  • Enjoy :toast: !

It works for the Intel AX200 wifi module - but the Realtek ethernet module is not showing in the Killer app. Is that correct?

And thanks again :)

Totally ok, is your ethernet connected to the internet? because if it is not connected, it won't show up :) also try to reboot after installing it... sometimes it needs a reboot to function or show up ;)

@Hotlod totally ok, it is not a problem :)

Most importantly it should show up both Killer Network Software on Device Manager like this... one for Wi-Fi and one for Ethernet ;)

While you mentioned Realtek chips, i'm actually on Intel I225-V 2.5Gb Ethernet chip from a ASUS B550-A board, i have no idea if that's relevant or remotely compatible with what you're doing, but if you're willing to give a try, i'm all up for it.

I have made a try who got the same ethernet as yours and it failed but I'm not giving up and I am trying to find a work around for Intel ethernet chip users :)

You can call it... "Still Working On It"

Disregard, seems to be working. Had to manually connect to the wifi network (figured the intel app woulda done that)

Shouldn't my ethernet show up as an option here?

Not yet, we are just doing baby steps to make it work with DoubleShot properly :) I am still working on driver level to make it seen by Intel Killer app ;) the current Intel Killer installer is just to make two separate driver, one for Wi-Fi and one for Ethernet.

Try connecting your ethernet cable and see if is being seen by Intel Killer App or not :D there's 50/50 chance it will show up there. I don't have any access to ethernet port or cable to try it. [I'm currently on the move... sitting in a hotel for the time being... work related stuff :D ]

Just wanted to share this...

There might be small delay on the progression of the Intel Killer ethernet drivers as I am still away from home.

I currently don't have any ethernet access to test drivers & to continue developing/tuning Intel Killer Ethernet drivers :) I will try to release new drivers whenever Intel releases them but progression about including Ethernet to Intel Killer Intelligence Center App will be slow. Forgive me that.

All good, I haven't seen any changes from the driver swap so it's business as usual until you get around to it. No rush.

Hi guys, I have a question. There are lots of random disconnect issues with the intel 2.5Gb LAN ports (i225/i226), has been on going for years now. How are the Killer ethernets such as the 5GB E5000 on newer Z890/X870 motherboards? Is it stable/no disconnect issues? Wasn't sure if the killer products shared the same drivers/firmware.hardware issues as the generic ethernet ports do.

Killer ethernet with 5GB E5000 should be fine and works without issues since they are Realtek chip based so they tend to be pretty much issue free and they even share the same Realtek drivers with Intel Killer drivers.... so in worst case scenario if it ever happened that Intel killer drivers causing issues for you... you can simply use the Realtek drivers and it will happily accept it and work for you :D

While Intel ethernet chip based tend to have the most issues with random disconnect issues and can lead to up to BSOD and those ones uses Intel drivers which according what I am seeing through .sys/.inf files... it's pretty much bad in my opinion :D

Thanks for reply. So if its based on Realtek does that mean an E5000 is just a RTL8126 and I can use drivers from https://www.realtek.com/Download/List?cate_id=584

Any luck getting the RTL8156 usb chipset to accept the Killer drivers?

I have the "Realtek Gaming USB 2.5GbE Family Controller" variant with the following HWIDs:
USB\VID_0BDA&PID_8156&REV_3104
USB\VID_0BDA&PID_8156
