Is there any real world benefit to found in Trident Z5 Royal above the other G.Skill lines? Higher binning, better OC, great cooling with minimal airflow, or just continues reputation of being stable with no real exciting performance gains to be found.

How so, If I might ask.
Searches are turning up SK HYNIX memory but nothing definitive between A or M die.

FreeAgent has DDR4 B-die Royals, not DDR5.
IMO the Royals are the Ricardo Montalban (Billy Crystal) of memory stick heatsinks.

The royals are just another name with higher speeds that are more or less just a number without the performance expected of such speeds.

I'd say go patriot if you want performance, if it's just about the shiny, I can't argue against the royals.

Was 90% sure that was the case. What little consensus I've seen among those chasing enthusiast performance is that G.Skill DDR5 has not been thrilling.

Stability can't be underrated for daily use system. Also Intel systems aren't showing a massive difference between 6000 and XMP 7400 (both low latency) in most games. Not sure Klevv will be immune to failure, but that is probably what I'll go with.

It's just if you love the look for sure otherwise there are other similarly performing or even better performing options at lower prices.

I'll still likely grab some at some point got a nice set of bdie ddr4 royals.

No brand is, of course, but I def give Klevv a leg up being Hynix's in-house brand. My experience with their products has been flawless so far.

Cl30/Cl32 6xxx memory is seeing a lot of price drops down to near parity across all options. Was looking at 6800 Teamgroup with second 6000 profile and noticed 6400 (single profile) Trident Z Royal around $100 mark. Of course Royal went back to "But Expensive" pricing during business hours today before I could make up my mind.

Klevv is probably the de facto choice here anyways.

Royal and Tridentz is the same underneath. Looong ago when Royal first came out it had exclusive bins like 4000 CL15 for DDR4. This Isn't the case for DDR5.

Just an FYI, KLEVV is going mainstream. Hynix used to save all the best bins and sell them as KLEVV, but that is no longer the case. They just released some eco ram that was nothing short of finding a box of old half density ICs and getting rid of them under a seperate lineup.

I hate to be the broken record at TPU, but if you want performance from your kits, look to Patriot.

That's unfortunate because I got a few JEDEC KLEVV kits from Taiwan (4800 -5600) that all reach 8000 CL36 with 1.45V. No heatspreader, but for $50 how can you complain :). Better go buy in bulk quickly!

It's an aesthetic thing. Not different from the regular kits :)

I'd say worth buying but I'm a sucker for these things. If you want something novel though, look for the Trident Z5 CK kits. Those are gonna be the next big thing in memory

Do you mean the URBANE V RGB memory range? What do you mean by "eco RAM"? Literally economical from a business perspective? Or were you referring to this?

https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/klevv-fit-v-ddr5-6000-32-gb-cl32.325385/

Could you tell me the difference between those Klevv fit modules and these Patriot Viper Venom modules?

Fit V is their eco branding. It isn't a bad kit, it's just not what klevv was known for.

The patriot kit has a lower case latency, but secondaries are not by xmp. I would say if you are going to tune the kit, you will get more from patriot than klevv imho.

Cheers for the response. I'm shopping around for RAM at the moment, if that wasn't obvious.

Do you mean the "cut dies" by "eco branding"? According to that review of the Patriot RAM they are using 8 Hynix B dies. Isn't that where the confusion comes in? If that Patriot RAM is dual rank doesn't that also make it eco RAM?

Eco = low profile low voltage. Klevv was originally an over clocking ram company.

Rank and ICs aren't so much part of that. Patriot is single rank. I'd have to refresh my memory on the layout of the klevv.
