Anyone using a MSI MEG Z890 Ace?

Hello!

I see they've been available now for about a week or so.

Anyone got one? It's my primary candidate at the moment, if I go Socket1851 in February next year.

I've a few questions.

Yeah, especially when CPU's aren't all available for them yet - I think if you have this motherboard, most will go for a 285K to put in it.....when it arrives.

I've a couple of questions for those who build using it - I have a copy of the manual already, but I'm keen for 1st-hand experiences rather than what I just read.

I'm also a little against buying something that is Rev1, would rather wait for at least the first production run to finish so they can implement any obvious changes they need from their initial sales; but I'm tracking the MSI website for news on this.

Gigabyte is the one that puts out multiple revision on the same name (Elite series). Everyone else just makes a new product if need be. Its going to be impossible to find out if MSI does a internal revision unless its a major issue to begin with.

There will be a way to tell the difference between batches / revisions - although if nothing major is wrong, they might wait a year before changing their production line. But yes, major issues will mean they revise much sooner.

The only thing I've seen regularly across vendors is the Wi-Fi card.
