also, I hate your toothpaste here, in American movies where you see their mouth foam up a lot when they brush their teeth, that is actually all I have known my entire life

Try Colgate Whitener toothpaste. That has bicarbonate soda in it (or more of it) so in theory should foam a little more than regular colgate, aquafresh or whatever it is that you are using.

::EDIT::

If anyone wants to know a the price of a pint in the UK

I have only ever done orders from Sainsburys, but I found a delivery slot for only 1 pound 50 for Morrisons. Going to try a Morrisons grocery delivery for the first time, any recommendations on good things I can only get from Morrisions or Morrisons branded food that you enjoyed?

Or is there no Morrisons within 5miles of your location that you could walk to and shop at?

its a 40 minute bus ride to exeter city from where i live in small village. we have a co-op here but no grocery store. delivery is the only option, ideally Aldi's would be within a 25 minute walk from me, as i prefer to save money at Aldi's vs sainsbury and morrisons anyway, but Aldi's is just too damn far away, so i have no choice

25mins walking is absolutely nothing. I weigh more than a ford raptor that ate a pickup truck and 25mins im just about getting warmed up. 25mins is me walking 2miles.

40min bus ride is understandable so having groceries delivered from that perspective is fine. Its like £1.75 to ride on the bus.

Get your ass out to Aldi

no it requires a dayrider with stragecoach, 5,60 quid because there is a bus change halfway through to Aldi's, last time i did this i did post in this thread that on way home bus broke down and my frozen food got a little ruined, the real problem is my friend doesn't drive and has no intention of driving, i think it scares her even though she is almost my age. none the less it leaves me in a bad spot, so grocery delivery is all i can do.

fyi this soup below is 100% delicious and healthy, literally has the perfect amount of spices

Is aldi a 25min walk or a 25min bus ride? Ive bought chilled foods. walked 25mins and never had them be ruined before I made it home, even during the warmer months. I mean its 4-6'c in exeter right now. keeping food chilled shouldnt be a problem.

this was in early october and the bus was really hot cause the sun was hitting as we were broke down

its a 30-40 min bus ride to aldi depending on traffic, i probably will go to aldi late this month or early next. its really the dayrider cost the gets me, thats over 9 us dollars... exchange rate is killing me.

Alright, Nevermind me then. Because in your other post you said Aldi was 25mins walk.

If it was a nice day, Id still do the walk. My walks usually span about 2-3hrs in total depending if I stop for lunch or not.

if you scroll back up, this is what it says:

ideally Aldi's would be within a 25 minute walk from me

key word is ideally, i just was implying if i was rich enough to move here/buy a home, i would pick a place like that

edit: now back to my original post, anyone got Morrison's food recommendations for me, I like everything! :toast:

If you like everything then just buy anything :p I don't do Morrison's I am afraid, not because there is not one locally but because I prefer others.

I am just experimenting, some stores have in-house things they do better than everyone else, for example nothing beats Sainsbury's fresh cookies, other cookies suck in comparison.

Most likely I will be going back to Sainsbury's from this order, but we will see. Bird's Eye chicken burgers have been a nice snack lately, I never eat chicken burgers back home, but yeah that crunch is quite nice with a little ketchup on a bun.

Well I don't eat cookies or any other sweet stuff such as cake/desserts/sweets (Candy) etc and Bird's Eye products are obviously the same wherever you buy them. I see you too will have some snow (if not already) in the next day or so, we have had some here but only a couple of inches.

The only decent food in those ration packs were Oatmeal blocks (Breakfast), the chocolate cake (yes I used to eat the sweet stuff when in the field, you need the calories) and Coronation Chicken, all the other stuff I used to swap for any of the 3 I mentioned :)

well Aldi's has their own brand of chicken burgers and it's better than anything including Bird's Eye

again this is why I asked, cause each store has certain things they do better than others, it's no big deal though, I am having fun experimenting and trying different stuff (sainsbury's does burgers fairly poorly imo though) if you want a good burger (cow) I really recommend the Ultimate Burger from Aldi's, pre-made ready to go with a variety of spices, etc. I am too lazy to do all that on my own, so glad I found that at Aldi's. Cheap, tastes great, and fills me up. Sometimes I will do it with a smoky bbq sauce on bun, nothing else. Other times, I will do the horribly american cheesy slice, mayo, lettuce, etc. lol

I don't really eat burgers much either, I prefer meals centred around veg and fruit with the odd bit of lean meat thrown in for good measure, I have the odd weakness for some things like for instance I really like the Aldi Cornish pasties but I tend to limit myself to one per week as they are prob ultra processed. My primary main meal daily is as I said, a home cooked lean meat or fish with veggies.

When I went for my last annual check up at the Doc's earlier this year she didn't believe me when I said that I had a home prepared evening meal every day, she said almost nobody does these days, boy how things change, I do treat myself to a takeaway around once a month though.

When I went for my last annual check up at the Doc's earlier this year she didn't believe me when I said that I had a home prepared evening meal every day, she said almost nobody does these days, boy how things change, I do treat myself to a takeaway around once a month though.

well, when I am home in America I usually eat fresh cut turkey (sliced in front of me at the deli) and i put that on ancient grain bread, 12 differents seeds/grains, and avacado - its quite nice taste and healthy. for some reason, I can not get turkey in the UK - it is a healthy lean meat though.

only turkey here is highly processed (not cut fresh in front of you)

what lean meats do you and where can i get them? i have to find a butcher?

Surprisingly, i seem to be pretty healthy, i have a low, below 50 resting heart rate, that is apparently really good. I do excercise regularly, but not so much now i have the motorbike.

my resting heart rate was around 100-105 bpm in grad school, i was dealing with a lot of medical issues back then, its all solved now. now its more around 70-75 bpm resting. i hope i can bring that down more though, i walk every day now. i wouldn't mind getting a bike, but too many people get hurt (regular bicycle) here, just read about one getting hit in Devonshire last week and the biker is still in critical condition. these roads were just not meant for regular bikes, too small, so I won't be doing that

edit: yes i know you meant motorbike not regular bicycle, i just meant for my health i was considering a regular bicycle, but decided against it

We sound pretty similar, on my last check up I was @46 for resting heartrate and I exercise 4 or 5 times a week but in my conservatory where I have a running machine, exercise bike and rower........... gets harder though the older I get
