Remember this, all you youngsters getting into IT. They ain't all Sagers and custom rigs...

Can you adjust the fan speeds? If so, turn the fans down. You'd be surprised how little air flow you need to effectively cool a laptop.
Thanks for the heads up, I gave it a better look, but only on/off switch available. No worries, this particular machine needs the extra airflow...can't believe Asus sell it as a gaming laptop. With this cooler on Heaven's benchmark tops at 82C. Without it, I don't even wanna know.

Nice Koso Digital dash with speedo/temp/fuel/tacho and more for my CBR125R project

Classic with a ThinkCentre they are usually reliable and just works.

If you need a memory upgrade go with either Crucial's or Kingston's memory finder because not all kits works in oems sadly.
They are i7-12700 with 32gb ram and 1tb nvme ssd. I got 20 of them. The company they are for is on a 3 to 5 year replacement cycle, so these should be good on memory and storage for the duration. I needed 18 and got 2 spares.

The printers are nothing special at all, they are just what the vendor specifies for their cloud stuff. got 4 of them.

You need a Scandinavian waffle iron, not that american stuff...

But does it double up as a thick-bread-cheese-tomato/beans toaster? I wander how that would turn out.. never tried a waffling iron before but currently using a flat george foreman for all-sorts.

You know that this kind of waffls are comng from belgium? Belgium is not a part of scandinavia. Scandinavia is Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finnland. Belgium is a part of the Benelux states. That area that ls located in between France, Germany and the Noth Sea consisting Netherland and Belgium. ;)

Lulz it's Finland no double N in there

And he properly do know he is living in Sweden by the way and he is a awesome fella @TheLostSwede :rockout:

No idea, but the company that makes that specific models, is cooking bacon and some kind of potato waffle in it.

I think you're confused. There's the horrible Belgian waffles that are like eating dry cake, the mediocre american waffles that requires a lot of maple syrup to be edible and then the Nordic waffles that are the ones you all should be yearning for, as they're the best.

The Zepp app speficially states that the data it collects is not necessarily stored on servers located in places that has the same laws as where the user is located. Make of that what you will. Other than that I liked the Band 5 I had, until the ring part of the band snapped after little more than a year.

1. Sorry. In german the land is written with a double "N"

Also here this thick kind of waffle is known as brussels waffle. If there is a caramelized sugar cover it is named liege waffle. And both cities are located in belgium.
But to be honest. i love the french crepe. For me that waffles has too much dough.

Does anybody know what for a dish washer needs a wlan access? In a week i will have to order a new dish washer. A lot of them offer a WLan-Access. Is chinese that spy addicted that they also want to know how much dirty tableware i have?

I wouldn't sweat it that much, I mean looks cool to be at work and launch your washing machine remotely or check how much is left from the cycle. I assume the same is with a wifi dishwasher.

So your phone can go BING! in the middle of the night because your dishwasher finished and you're now awake and can't go back to sleep?

If you don't have it in Do Not Disturb mode throughout the night; Samsung phones typically do that by default. I suspect that you might not be required to use the app or connect the dishwasher to your Wi-Fi network; however, that's just speculation on my behalf and is not a fact.

Treated myself to a platform upgrade, and will retire the AM4 parts to my living room PC.

Didn't want to pay a squillion $$$ for a high end ITX board so am living with a few compromises on this one but nothing significant, and it should still be a top performer.

-Gigabyte B650I AX
-Ryzen 7 9800X3D (using recycled Fuma 2 which bolted on zero issues or changes needed)
-Lexar ARES RGB DDR5 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 6000MHz, CL30-36-36-68
-Silicon Power 4TB US75 PCIe Gen4 R/W up to 7,000/6,500 MB/s M.2 NVMe SSD (has a heatsink on it now - not pictured)

looking forward to seeing how it can help my 3080 stretch it's legs more when digging deep with DLSS's lower internal resolutions, and be a great platform for a potential RDNA4 or RTX50 card.

No idea, I don't have a connected dishwasher. We had a washer/dryer with NFC, which was quite handy, since the instructions were unreadable for me on the machine, so I could use the app to start it, until they changed the app so you couldn't start the machine with it...

This is just Phase 1 of the AI uprising. Soon dishwashers, fridges, tumble dryers, etc will form their own encrypted social networks where they’ll secretly plan to overthrow humanity. One spotless plate, one chilled soda, one fluffy towel at a time. Watch out for the sneaky vacuum, its probably already mapping your house.

No idea, but the company that makes that specific models, is cooking bacon and some kind of potato waffle in it.

Potato waffles, melted cheese and veg/meat fillings.... we're onto something! I might just fancy one of these. For some reason i'm drawn to the george foreman for quick and tasty knock ups. Teaming that up with a waffler will add some serious versatility.
