RTX 3080 Thermalpad replacment

Hey Guys,
I have replaced the Thermalpads from my Gainward 3080 Phoenix.
VRAM 2 mm, and others 1mm, Backplate not changed.
Now the Mem Temp goes after some seconds direct to 106 Degrees, after that i stoped the miner directly.
I opened the Card again and checked the pads if the mem modules have contact to the Pads.
On all pads i see the contacts from the VRAM.
Don´t know how to fix. Maybe other size from Pads ? I use the Gelid Extreme.
Maybe someone can help.

Where do you check these? Can you check the thermalpad specs for my Asus RTX 3080 TUF as well? Few of them have seen better days so I might replace them..

Go get a gap/feeler gauge and measure, once you know the gap, add .25 or .5 mm to that for press fit
