Motherboard GIGABYTE X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7 not posting, stuck on code 00 with DRAM red LED turned on

I’ve build my the system and it is not posting, no signal on Monitor.
CPU pump and fans are working, motherboard displays code 15 for 10 sec, then it gets stuck on error code 00 with DRAM red LED turned on.

I’ve left it like that for more than 20 mins, so it’s not the RAM training.

Code 00 doesn’t appear in the motherboard manual.

I’ve tried different things:

• Connecting just one single stick of RAM in slot A2
• Removing the graphics card and plugging the HDMI cable into the motherboard
• Removing all unnecessary cables from the motherboard
• Resetting the BIOS
• Flashing the BIOS with the latest version: F3f

In each case, the same issue, error code 00 with DRAM red LED turned on.

My components are:
GIGABYTE X870E AORUS ELITE WIFI7
AMD Ryzen 9 7950x
AIO pump ARCTIC AC Liquid Freezer III 360 ARGB
Corsair Vengeance 2x32GB DDR5 6000MHz CL30 Dual Channel Kit
PSU Be Quiet! Pure Power 12 M, 80+ Gold, 1000W
Geforce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER

I've been stuck here before after fiddling with memory settings. I'm not sure if this will fix your issue but give it a try anyways.

While BIOS Flashback should do a CMOS Clear, it might have not even flashed. The updated BIOS part doesn't matter since all x870 support every single 7000 series released.

Try resetting the BIOS these 3 ways. I Believe that MB only has a jumper near the bottom. Jump it for a few seconds at few times in a row. Sounds silly but multiple AMD MBs have done this to me. Completely bricked until I fiddle the the CMOS reset in some combination.

1: No power to the MB
2: Power not turned on
3: while running and stuck on the Code 00

If the above doesn't work, unplug all power (including the battery) to the board over night.

Try to remove the battery for about 5 minutes. Sometimes that works to reset the board. This may be anecdotal but when I was on AM4 Corsair Vengeance were some of the most popular worst RAM you could buy. There is a TEAM kit that is a 32GB 6000 CL30 and nice and inexpensive. At this point that $80 US may be the cheapest peace of mind update.

A "00" code usually means "no CPU detected" in most motherboards, seems board hasn't even gotten to init stage. Unplugging battery and discharging it fully may "debug" if it's some problem with its NVRAM, but if it's still no go, try reseating the processor. I don't think it's the memory that's at fault, but if you can borrow someone's kit, that could be helpful too.

Yeah but it did Code 15 first (so the op says), so that would be the CPU is detected and got passed the initial stage.

Guessing, Mis-seated CPU, Bent pin/finger in socket, bad board, etc.
Overtightening the cooler can cause this too.

Reseat CPU, inspecting socket and CPU pads. Remount cooler w/ minimum of force to clamp to CPU, see if it POSTs.

Since this is a brand new build that apparently never worked correctly, I recommend taking everything out of the case and assembling it on a clean wooden bread/cutting board to see if it POSTs there.

If it does, inspect the case thoroughly to ensure you only inserted a standoff where there is a corresponding motherboard mounting hole.

After putting the CPU back in and attaching the AIO plate without pressure I get the same error code 00 and DRAM red light on.

Time to send it back for a refund if you can. Otherwise RMA.
