Hello!

I hope this is the right place for the topic.

I want to reinstall my OS [WPro11 24H2] (or rather install a different Version of my OS)

I currently have 4 SSDs in my System, 2 NVME [C: & D:] that operate normally and 2 SATAs V: that are in a RAID 0 configuration.

The OS is on C: and for that reason I have to format it.

Currently I copy most of my files to -> V: because D: doesn't have enough free space.

Now to my Question:

How do these both RAID 0 SSDs ( V: ) know each other? Do I have to "couple" these again after the reinstall? Or even worse format both of them.

Also a other thing that came up in my mind was:

What happens if plugged them out of my system into a complete new one? Would they just appear like a normal SSD over at "Disk management" and I could mount them there?

Do you get a speed up from the two SSD SATA drives in RAID 0?

I am pretty sure I got around 900MB/s on those drives, which is almost double that of normal ones (if I am not completely wrong).

But the reason was not speed... tbh i just wanted to try out Raid once.

(Also the SLC-cache doubles)

Are you using the AMD Raid driver or letting windows manage the array?

Either way the data will be there, but Windows won't "see" the drives during installation unless you load the AMD Chipset RAID driver. If Windows is managing the array it should auto-populate udring windows installation.

I set it up through Windows "Disk Management" so i assume it's Windows

So you don't need to load the AMD driver, and windows will see the array during installation.
