With World War 3 failing spectacularly (which I'm really sorry about, because it seemed to have a ton of potential), Battlefield franchise steadily going in shit direction since BF4 (personal opinion), and being extremely uninterested in PUBG/COD, I didn't really bother with the FPS shooters for years, until I noticed a person I occasionally watch on Twitch streaming this Delta Force thing about a week ago that somehow caught my eye.
I googled up a little, and it's pretty damn interesting:
- modern setting
- good graphics
- non-shit looking UI (looking at you BF 2042)
- free to play without pay to win
- developers allegedly talking to the community

I really don't understand how are they financing it since it's free to play, but if it lasts, it might just be a candidate for a Battlefield killer game.

Is anyone playing already by chance?

Delta Force/ Joint Operations was by Novalogic which became a part of THQ, Extreme 2 came out in 2009

This is totally off topic, but on a lan party we wanted to install that game on all 16 machines (it was like a computer lab) and we had one CD (pirated obviously, which wasn't illegal back then) so we popped the CD into one computer, shared the CD drive (we had a hub, this was before switches) and just ran the install on al 16 machines at once. It did not work.
