That.....is a REALLY open question. What are you looking for? Buy an old Gateway beige box for $25 on ebay and you're done? What size? what do you want to go in it? clear side or completely closed?

Do you wanna cool ur CPU with air or water? Or even custom loop? Do you wanna use an ATX-mainboard or what?

In general, a Fractal Design North XL is very well received and goes for 180 bucks. It is very big, has great airflow and comes with 3 140mm-fans included. For such a general question, I guess that would be my general answer. A cheaper alternative would be the Lian Li LANCOOL 207, goes for around 90 bucks.

In general, just search for a case you like, then research some reviews for it. It's really work that you can easily do on your own.

TBH, a dvd/bd drive gives some nostalgic vibes oooor a dual 3,5" reservoir would be my usecase

That is correct, that's why I got an external blu-ray-burner. Extracted it from a defect laptop, the casing was dirt cheap. Great success!

Cosmos is a funny one, it's both oldschool yet somewhat modern, so you'd build a sleeper or a reverse sleeper anyway

My main rig is in it(specs in profile). All I have left, is finally make a proper front panel mod, cause headphones don't work(mini-jack is damaged) and it doesn't have USB 3.0.
Otherwise, it's still a perfect daily. I think I paid around $15-20 for it, which is about as much as the cost of aluminium in it.

Antec Flux pro, exists in white, maybe a bit over your budget(about 30/40 sth bucks/euro/dollars..) but the best airflow case and I find it to be very beautiful, I own it, and I can tell you its not only beautiful but has great build quality, not to mention really easy to build in.

A white bequiet Silent Base 802 would be a choice, costs 150.

Do you want to put the AIO in the front? In the top? Other fans? Because oftentimes going a little higher in budget will safe you money, because there are fans already preinstalled. A Light Base 900 is also a choice, though a little more exotic.

Seriously, though, what are your intentions with it? HTPC, gaming rig, size, etc. What sort of system do you intend to build? I can suggest a case for $50 that is perfect for me, but it might not be perfect for you.
