24262 hours I see some 4 years on the WSD100T1X0E but 50TB write is a tad above most suggesting some writes more than jusual

More than my machine has racked up.

Shouldn't it be 8192 for proper binary numbers?
Yes. Not that it makes much difference but we are nothing if we don't nerd out over computer details, right?

It would, but I mistyped and it's such a small number that I don't care enough to change it. It's close enough, so I don't care. Nice catch though! Good eye.
Moons ago I had to interpret Hexadecimal addresses in a particular avionics computer, that was a headache lol

Is this a legit copy of Windows, like straight from MS not a torrent?

I have been using mine since they came out and literally installed Windows hundreds of times to it, plus games and use..

I never let the system sleep or hibernate.

Update:

So I ordered a new nvme WD SN810 OEM version 512GB for my OS and just installed it for my OS and formatted the problematic nvme from TeamGroup. Now I am ready to send it for RMA but some dude from a Bulgarian forum told me that the company won't accept the drive for RMA because technically the drive is okay and there is no true reason for them to accept the RMA. Is that true ? Because technically the drive is working great - it's just the fast degradable health the problem.Do you guys now something about the RMA process and will they accept it for RMA ?

Yes, that's right.I've downloaded the Windows Installation media to create a boot drive(usb) and that's how I install and re-install my device(s). And yes , I never let my system to sleep to.Either its turned on for undefined period of time or it's turned off.

So they refused to RMA the drive.Ofcourse not refused but the guy in the service center of the shop I bought it from told me that if the SSD is technically good after the diagnostics they would run then they might not RMA it and return it to me in the state it is right now.I will keep it for OS and do whatever I do on it , when It reaches 0 % i will buy another one this time from Samsung brand or something like that.I managed to write 3TB on the WD 512GB SN810 I bought days ago only to see if will drop 1% (because its 300TBW) and its still 100%

I wouldn't RMA. Nothing unusual going on so far.

The underlined bit in your screenshot is plain:
700TB * 0.39% = ~2.76TB

The other percentage number, "lifetime", no idea what's it based on. Seems more arbitrary.
Maybe a software interpretation taking into account various SMART stats (could you show the full SMART stats?).

BTW: Screenshots can be cropped :) (or just Alt-PrtScr + paste + save).
It could be throwing SMART logged errors all the time though and that will influence its % health, and would explain it reducing faster than you'd be expecting given the usage profile.

@hermesa Is there more detailed SMART readings info?

33x unsafe shutdowns might be something to look into. But other than that... nothing that should cause alarm

Offtopic:
Why not crop screenshots, and save efficiently?
Multiple-MBs per each is overkill.
Because not everyone super tech savvy. I see nothing wrong with those screenshots. Complain about things that matter.

4% in a few months time does not throw up a red flag? It's gone down 2% in just the two months we've been discussing it in this thread. To me, that is worrisome.

I agree but the SMART data doesn't directly give us a strong lead. I've got lots of unsafe shutdowns too. Drive health's fine.

Lots of inline high-res images in a thread page can cause loading problems on mobile devices, particularly on sketchy networks. Cropped images are also easier for a reader to parse. It's not the biggest disaster in the world, and clearly not a huge problem here, but it doesn't not matter.

This may or may not be applicable to other drive brands but according to Samsung Software unsafe shutdowns are recorded if the shutdown notification is not received (by the drive) prior to loss of power. If the OP was getting disk check errors in combination with this then I would worry otherwise take it with a grain of salt. This happens to all my Samsung drives nearly all the time, in all my machines, when I shutdown going on years now. So far never an issue but it is confusing that they don't make this counter appear to work properly. I suspect it could be a driver level issue not notifying the drive.

Well you found the solution, you bought a drive to put critical stuff on and have a drive for temp use.

I think theres not much more that can be done now.

Then yeah just keep using it and if the drive health keeps dropping at this rate it will reach critical mass before the warranty period is over, and then you use the warranty.

Then use a proper PC? If you're going to TPU on mobile you need to be ready for lots of large and highres images. This is, after all, a PC tech web site.
There is one issue I find that pops up a lot if someone uses use hi-res images. When they post, very large images bork following bookmarked pages and tend to stop scrolling at the first hi-res image before it gets to the book marked post. That's why after posting images I stretch/shrink them a bit.

I think the one who posts images has much more responsibility. :)

Also...
One person has to put in the "effort" once, but the benefit is shared by multiple viewers.
Need to be considerate to TPU's bandwidth bill.
And come on, surely someone who agonizes over SMART stats can also crop images. (I'll leave image format choice and minor optimizations to an advanced course.)
