Measuring the hold-up time is a dangerous procedure since you have to connect an oscilloscope to the main grid. Unless you are taking the right precautions, you never want to do this; it's dangerous and you could harm yourself and your equipment!

I respect that...

But when you pack 2500uF of bulk caps in there, I kinda wanna see what that gets you.

I agree, just stating to Shrek how's it's tested. I think it should be tested especially with the new ATX standards
That said, the hold up time is impressive

Thermaltake failing to even reach ATX spec... I can't even feign surprise.
thermaltake went with high power for cost and and 1650w units are not high power's typical domain, results are mixed but basically show cost cutting and lack of proper design especially on OTP (or lack there of)
