Great, now make a beige mid-tower case.

In fact they could just re-design the front panel a bit on FARA 513 and it would fit:
Yikes! Mounting the radiator beneath the CPU block is a classic no-no with liquid cooling. Air or a vacuum naturally builds at the highest point in the water loop. This will be disastrous in matter of months.

All for an empty 5.25 bay? hah!

If it doesn't have a "Turbo" button, it's not retro ;)
Would also need the seven-segment display to display "66"

Hopefully they did not improve the plastic quality, this needs to patina like the originals :)

And black is old, but not retro :D

Don't want to burst your bubble but pretty sure at quarter of a century we are in the 'retro' stage :p.

I miss having 5.25" drive bays and really wish more cases still came with one or two bays so newer USB ports can be added or other convinces like card readers and GPU/Peltier PSUs and watercooling uses.

5.25" would be pretty damn useful for a pump-reservoir.

Well, what GPU can you even fit in these? because the GD09 was already pretty terrible for accomodating the huge graphics bricks and it looks like the same problem again.

And silverstone says the height limit is 133mm but shows a zotac card that is much bigger than that

If you genuinely want black, then look into their Grandia series.

Just note, there's not a lot of room for any heatsink in these cases. That 5.25" bay basically extends out to where the CPU is...so it's rough getting anything in there.
I have a Peerless Assassin 120 Mini with 3 fans (92, 120, 92) in mine, and still have a working ODD. I also have three Noctua 140 Industrial case fans (two in, one out) Of course, It took some creative work with a saw and selective component choices to accomplish.

Agreed.
I wanted to go retro a while ago (I miss my 286), but there is not enough space in these cases to fit a regular tower with a 120mm fan. And you have to keep an eye out for SSD mounting slots, sometimes if you fill them all, that will interfere with the max length for the video card.
It's still nice to have the options, but you need to be mindful of a few more aspects than usual.
The Peerless Assassin 120 Mini will fit with some work. First off, I swapped in an Industrial 120 because I like overkill, then I had to notch the fan's lower corner to clear a heat shield at the edge of the MB, and I cut a slot in the top to allow the cross support to set in place cleanly.

Oh! I just remembered..., I also had to grind off a little bit of that cross support to allow for a couple of bumps on the top on the top of the heatsink.

Why would I do that? If I have to buy a new cooler, I'd just one having a 92mm fan. It's not like I'm going to install a 14900k in there, is it?

 You probably could.

I used to have a Noctua NH-U9S, and it worked fine for my 9700K. I'm a fan of overkill, and tend to overthink a lot. I get a wild hair to do something and then figure out how.
