Do I also disable adjacent sector prefetch or leave that enabled (its the option under hardware prefetch in the bios.)
Also is there any downside to having hardware prefetch disabled in the bios?

I'm not sure. I just deactivated upstream and downstream prefetcher which I think they were called.

Yea for me its hardware prefetch and adjacent sector prefetch.I'm on an old z390 motherboard.
Il try Hardware prefetcher off and leave adjacent sector prefetch untouched just incase.(its enabled by default)
