Developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive today announced that the highly anticipated next chapter in the studio's legendary Killing Floor franchise, Killing Floor 3, will launch worldwide on March 25, 2025 for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), the PlayStation 5 system, and the Xbox Series X|S console systems. Tripwire also announced that pre-orders are now available for both retail and digital versions, along with detailing pricing, pre-order bonuses, and exclusive content across both standard and special editions. Digital pre-orders for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and retail pre-orders for console versions are live now. Digital pre-orders for console versions will be opening soon, with specific timing and updates available via Tripwire socials. In celebration, Tripwire has revealed the next in its series of Zed reveal videos, focused on the new and deadly Siren.

Like Zeds, Killing Floor 3 editions will come in many shapes and sizes between both digital and retail. All digital and retail pre-orders will include the limited timed exclusive Flatline Tactical Bundle (Flatliner weapon skin, Fear the Reaper trinket, and Special Action Force player card).

Tripwire and global distribution partner Plaion will offer retail-exclusive versions:
  • Standard Edition (MSRP of $39.99) - Available in North America, includes the base game and a pre-order bonus, either the limited timed exclusive Clamefield Patrol Specialist Skins Pack, or the Flatline Tactical Bundle (at select retailers).
  • Day 1 Edition (MSRP of $39.99) - Available outside North America, includes the base game, Flatline Tactical Bundle, and Clamefield Patrol Specialist Skins Pack.
Digital Editions will be available on all major digital storefronts and will come packed with additional content:
  • Deluxe Edition (MSRP of $59.99) - Includes the Shadow Agent Specialist & Weapon Skin Sets, Launch Nightfall Supply Pass, and 1000 Creds.
  • Elite Nightfall Edition (MSRP of $79.99) - Includes everything from the Deluxe Edition plus Year 1 Premium Nightfall Supply Pass Access (four passes) and 3000 Creds.

Players eager to test their zed-slaying skills early can sign up for access and information about the game's upcoming closed beta, taking place from Feb. 20-24. Check out the new Closed Beta video to get prepared.

Killing Floor 3 is the next installment in the legendary co-op action/horror FPS series. The year is 2091, 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2, and megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. Now, the only thing standing between these infernal creations and the future of humanity is the rebel rogue group known as Nightfall. This intense first-person shooter puts players in the role of a Nightfall specialist, joining forces with up to five teammates as they battle through a war-ravaged, dystopian future, surviving unrelenting waves of Zeds, unlocking new skills, and building the ultimate arsenal.

Killing Floor 3 Key Features Include:
  • Killer Co-op - Assemble the ultimate zed extermination squad for frenzied 6-player co-op with full crossplay functionality across all platforms. Skilled specialists can brave the battlefield alone in tense single-player mode.
  • Relentless Zeds - Players will face the most lethal zeds yet. Every enemy has been redesigned with advanced methods of mobility, attack, and re-tuned with smarter AI; making them faster, deadlier, and more strategic than ever.
  • Deadly Weapons - From flamethrowers to shotguns to katanas, players will have an expansive arsenal at their disposal, fully customizable with hundreds of mods, gadgets, and skills to choose from to fit their unique brand of bloodletting.
  • Dangerous Locations - Players will drop into a variety of treacherous hot zones to contain further spread of the Outbreak. Interactive environments give players dynamic advantages by activating turrets, fans, and other devastating traps.
  • More Gore - The M.E.A.T. System returns to deliver even more realistic carnage. Featuring additional points of dismemberment and persistent blood, the game responds to attacks with gruesome authenticity.

Developed and published by Tripwire Interactive, Killing Floor 3 is currently in development and will launch on March 25, 2025 for PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), the PlayStation 5 system, and the Xbox Series X|S console system.

I've been playing KF2 lately. It still holds up.

Eh its one of the few games I bought right away because of how much of a good time I had with KF1, its where I got most of my steam friends from, but dear lord did I and do I HATE KF2.

I mean granted I havent played it in forever but I doubt the fundamental changes it would need are now changed.

I also never liked the new designs compared to the old, the old were creepy and you almost felt the pain of some of the creatures just looking at them, in that way it reminded me of the machine the girl from the exorcist was strapped to, that oldschool medical practice horror.

The designs are jusat over the top steroid pumped fleshhulks, they look ridiculous.

And sadly this seems to just do more of that.

KF2 has been on life support for several years, time for the new Tripwire slop to finally take its place.
