We build our TUF Gaming components for users who want an emphasis on substance, meaning you're paying for pure performance when you go TUF. That focus on function is where the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 and TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 graphics cards excel, providing you with next-gen graphics capabilities as well as high-performance thermal solutions that'll hold up under 4K AAA gaming pressure. If you've been waiting to upgrade your rig and want to treat yourself to a premium power bump, now's the time to pull the trigger. You're in for a truly substantial generational leap with these high-end components featuring the power of NVIDIA's latest GPU architecture alongside the sophistication of our latest graphics card designs.

Next-gen tech for tomorrow's heavyweight games
The GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080 comprise the top of the power stack for NVIDIA's 50 Series GPUs, so when you invest in either a TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 or 5080 graphics card, you're setting yourself up for years to come. The 50 Series is powered by NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture, meaning these GPUs feature 4th generation RT cores to give gamers the best ray tracing performance yet. They also pack neural shaders, which compress textures to cut down on memory usage and produce incredible real-time visuals. And NVIDIA has ensured its 50 Series is equipped for neural processing via a built-in AI management processor, so you'll get an optimal experience when harnessing the power of NVIDIA DLSS 4. Powered by 5th generation Tensor Cores, DLSS 4 uses a Multi Frame Generation solution to boost your framerate to new heights.

Expect all those tech benefits whether you go with the ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 OC Edition, ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090, ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 OC Edition, or ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080. No matter what, you'll get a graphics card set to last you many years. Just look at the RTX 5080 cards' healthy 16 GB pool of GDDR7 VRAM. GDDR7 memory is more energy efficient and sports higher bandwidth than GDDR6, meaning these cards will generate less heat while providing smoother gameplay at high fidelity compared to last-gen models. Tasks like video editing and 3D rendering will enjoy faster processing times, too. Look forward to high-resolution textures at exceptionally high framerates, especially if you're breaking into 4K gaming.

From a gamer's perspective, the whopping 32 GB of GDDR7 VRAM wielded by the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 cards offers a true generational leap forward. With this massive pool of memory, the latest RTX features, and the sheer power of the Blackwell architecture, you'll be able to game at ultra-high resolutions with every possible setting cranked to the max. But gamers aren't the only PC users out there eyeing up the potential of these cards. Professional creators and AI enthusiasts will be able to put that 32 GB of GDDR7 to work right away—and they'll enjoy a game-changing performance uplift in just about workflow out there.

These cards also feature Dual BIOS support, letting you switch between Quiet or Performance mode depending on what you need your machine for during a given session. Whether you want to reduce noise or squeeze every last drop of power out of your graphics card, you'll only ever be a switch flip away from your desired mode. If you're the type of techie who wants to fine-tune their experience and go beyond the Dual BIOS binary, enjoy even more mode configurations with our GPU Tweak III software. This software not only gives you a deep look at your GPU's various specs and settings but also gives you maximum control over individual GPU parameters. Whether you want to overclock with minimal fuss or need a convenient way to monitor real-time performance stats, GPU Tweak III will make life easier than ever.

Efficient thermal solutions bring low temperatures and quiet acoustics
All our TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090 graphics cards come equipped with an exciting new Phase-Change GPU Thermal Pad, which optimizes heat dissipation to maximize your hardware's lifespan. But that's far from the only cooling trick we have up our sleeve.

On our TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 cards, you'll get a robust suite of our latest cooling technology. This includes three Axial-tech fans, which provide up to 23% more airflow than standard fans thanks to their long blades, and a large vapor chamber to efficiently optimize your card's heat transfer and distribution. All this culminates in a card that keeps cool under load so it can perform its best no matter how hard your games push it.

On our TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090 cards, you'll get all that plus a large vapor chamber with twelve heat pipes, further reducing heat buildup and boosting thermal efficiency. If you prioritize keeping your card cool to achieve ultra-low noise output, this card is an ideal solution.

One look fits all
When it comes to TUF Gaming, we're big believers that gunmetal gray goes with just about everything. That's why our TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090 graphics cards rock a diecast shroud and angular, proudly industrial aesthetics, conveying that they're built to do heavyweight work on your behalf. These high-tech cards also integrate flourishes of futurism to effortlessly inform onlookers that they're carrying next-gen power.

Each card features tasteful Aura Sync RGB accents, providing the option to illuminate your rig if you feel your desktop could use a little sizzling neon flair. These RGB elements help the TUF Gaming logo stand out, letting everyone know where your heavy-duty card came from.

Reliable, durable construction you can count on
A great graphics card requires the best components and assembly if it's to give you top-tier gaming performance 24/7. That's why, for the discerning gamer who prioritizes durability and longevity, we offer the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090.

Our Auto-Extreme technology enhances the cards' durability through our manufacturing process, where we do all soldering in a single pass. This minimizes thermal strain on components and sidesteps the need for harsh cleaning chemicals, reducing stress on your card before it reaches your rig. These cards also benefit from ASUS GPU Guard, which puts adhesive on all four GPU corners to prevent crack damage and uses a GPU bracket to ensure uniform mounting pressure. Thanks to these measures, you can rest assured your card's GPU will be in pristine condition when it's time for it to enter your PC.

We use TUF 5K black metallic capacitors to provide 52% wider temperature tolerance and a lifespan up to two and a half times longer than standard capacitors. TUF chokes and MOSFETs ensure stable power delivery to the GPU, keeping your system healthy. A vented metal exoskeleton protects the card's exterior from damage. And as one last layer of additional protection, we give these high-end TUF Gaming graphics cards a protective PCB coating, shielding them from the short-circuiting harms of moisture and debris. When you want resilience, you want TUF.

What it takes to power a next-gen graphics card
If you're going to wield the might of a heavyweight GeForce RTX 5080 or 5090 GPU, do so responsibly by making sure your rig has a power supply that's up for the job. If you stuff a high-end graphics card into a PC with a lacking PSU, you're tempting system errors, hardware damage, and more—so play it safe and upgrade if you're on the fence.

For the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080, we recommend a TUF Gaming 1000 W Gold PSU. It'll safely provide all the juice your graphics card needs while also including perks like PCB protection, vibration resistance, and modular etched cables to keep your rig organized and tidy. It also includes premium components like Japanese capacitors for enhanced voltage stability and high-performance copper pins that keep operating temperatures low via exceptional thermal conductivity. Plus, the PSU comes with a 10-year warranty, so you know we're not messing around when we say it's built to last.

For the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5090, you're going to need a bit more power, so consider the TUF Gaming 1200 W Gold PSU. It sports the same great features as the TUF Gaming 1000 W Gold PSU and allows you to power graphics cards with greater energy needs.

Note that your power needs may vary depending on the CPU you use, whether you plan on overclocking, and the number of peripherals and accessories you have plugged in. Check out our PSU wattage calculator to see what kind of power supply you need for your specific gaming rig. And if you want an in-depth read on why we recommend the power supplies that we do, we have a detailed guide listing all the best power supplies for your RTX 5090 and 5080 graphics cards.

When you need a graphics card that's powerful, durable, and TUF
If you're in the market for a world-class GeForce RTX 5080 or 5090 graphics card that can keep your rig powered up amid dust, moisture, and the innate challenge of fueling today's most dazzling AAA games, go rugged with TUF Gaming.

Thanks to a unique blend of premium components, military-grade construction, and pure gaming horsepower, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5080 and 5090 are in a class of their own. PC gamers who want to make a long-lasting, smart investment in their gaming future can go out and grab these TUF Gaming cards right now, as they're on store shelves, ready to amp up your rig.

I personally dont care. My GPU is still fine for now. I am in zero rush to upgrade, if I even do this gen.

But I might.. just because I have a good job now..

Your 4070 Ti is pretty good; anything short of a 5080 wouldn't offer a meaningful upgrade.

Once the AI stuff kicks in, I'm sure the new cards will do better. Unless we are seeing another Turing type era where AI stuff works, but not that well, but the next gen will dominate it, as will the gen after that..

Eh we'll see; I don't believe in buying something that doesn't justify its price in the present.

I remember casually mentioning to my wife how much a 4090 cost and her caustic comment would have put me off purchasing anything as expensive even if I already didn't think of it as an exorbitant waste of money for my needs.

2$ a day shouldn't be a problem, but only at MSRP and AIB recommend price whatever that could mean, sold and shipped by Newegg for example. 2080 Ti was 999 but AIBs were selling at 1199. 5090 is overkill and that 600 W makes it unusable. Nvidia should have done a 4090 refresh with 18176 Cores.

I really like that Asus went with ptm7950 phasechange. I changed paste on my Asus 4070 dual to ptm7950 and core tempdropped by 5C and hotspot by 12.5C vs stock paste

I really dislike that Asus just paperlaunched...
