Oh, good question, power limit really isn't much of an issue on RTX 5080, but as the data shows you can gain a few FPS with higher limit. Note how it's the 2nd fastest card behind Astral at max power

What was the furmark clock during 450 watt setting? Furmark uses less voltage due to reaching power cap instantly.

Cuda apps with matrix multiplication could benefit from watts extra. I would expect 12% boost over other cards.
