You are missing the point of that connector. Has nothing to do with the CPU, its auxillary for everything but the CPU VRM. I had 7 M.2 in my X670 ACE and all the PCIe slots filled.It is a feature you don't need and will never use, created by motherboard manufacturers that have run out of other ways to charge you more for less.
