If it's the same crap they had at launch - the only way to fix it is switching to DX11. Visually there's barely any difference, but it solves 90% of crashes and black screens.
Wanted to do an achievement hunt run in Mankind Divided... so I guess I'm in for another nightmare, cause apparently not many critical things got patched.

It runs great in DX12 now. The issue is frame rate reduction. Leave it at 60 and it is issue free.

I guess I beat you to it. Decided to install and do the achievement hunting run, but unfortunately it crashed once during benchmark and second time - just 10 minutes into the first mission (and that was already DX11). I'll try to enable vsync and lower my framerate to 60 (right now vsync is off cause I wanted to see at least my puny 100Hz in-game ).

I'm starting to wonder if we will hear about the next three games being remastered after IV-VI pack is out. TR Legend is the only one of them that a real argument could be made for graphically.

Just started up Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Man I am really starting to think PC graphics peaked in visuals to performance ratio around 2015-2016. This game is gorgeous, beautiful settings, good animations and character models, beautiful effects that wouldn't be out of place today. Texture resolution is a bit lower than it could be, but otherwise this is another game that could have released in 2022 and would have fit right in.

Performance on my 6800XT is absolutely through the roof. ~200FPS @ 1440P maxed.

As far as the game itself, it looks like its going to be more of TR2013 which isn't a bad thing at all considering that game was pretty solid. Game does a good job laying down strong Indiana Jones vibes from an archeological leading into the supernatural kinda place. Still has that murder porn kinda vibe with the deaths and failed QT events and such, but there does seem to be less ludonarrative dissonance between the gameplay Lara and the cutscene Lara this time around (i.e. Lara has just murder hobo'd her way through roughly 1000 cultists in gameplay, then Lara has a moral dilemma over killing a cultist in a cutscene...).

Looks like its going to be a good time.

For Automation, I suggest you try the latest Al-Rilma open alpha. (Select openbeta in Steam)

Major flow calculation overhaul in the latest Al-Rilma patch! IIRC, Ellisbury will choke off the flow and make things seem off.

The latest alpha, also fixed the broken texture bug for the differentials. (Affects Al-Rilma before patch 4)

Automation + Beam NG is the best by far, looks like I won't go back! Still works very well, even when I think my graphics will struggle, compared to GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super!

In Cyperpunk 2077, I need XeSS to not have the FPS low, even with raster-only-mode. Then I can do 40 FPS with ray tracing.

For your cars, better back them up, before changing the build. I think the engines will be fundamentally incompatible with engines made with Ellisbury!

The latest Al-Rilma patch, was just this February! I felt like it was a huge present! It was very broken during the very-early Al-Rilma open alpha, which debuted in December, 2024.

I started with frostpunk on the epic game store a few days ago. I restarted several times.

Than suddenly - it seems the scenario would have been over and I was greeted with the windows 11 pro 24h2 desktop. Game just closed itself or crashed without a warning or error dialog.

A quick search showed that frostpunk just suddenly crashes - awesome giveaway game. + the nasty epic games drm - without net - it will greet you to log in the net and epic games account.
