Got my ASRock X670E PG Lightning today. Board looks very nice. At first I was a little bit apprehensive, because the board wasn't in an anti-static bag, but instead secured by some straps through the mounting holes. Also, the active fan heat sink for the PCIE 5 M.2 slot isn't included, as shown in some unboxing videos. Seems like this is a newer revision. Shipped with UEFI v2.02 which is from late 2023. User guide also doesn't mention the additional heat sink. Everything looks brand new and unused, though, as it should. Also had a quick look at the AM5 socket, which also looks pristine.

Now, I only need to get a processor and memory. And offload my (unused) 5700X3D, memory and motherboard... :)
What CPU do you intend to get?

Will probably go for a 7700 (non-X) since that barely costs more than a 7600 as a tray version. It's supposed to be an interim solution. Add to that 2x 32 GB ECC RAM, most likely from Micron.

Benchmark Scores I once clocked a Celeron-300A to 564MHz on an Abit BE6 and it scored over 9000.
7700 non-X is a great interim CPU. Its price fluctuates quite a lot but when it's down under $250 it's really not worth bothering with the cheaper 6-cores.

Searching ebay in Europe I see them go used for €160-190
