And yet people get so angry about Assassin's Creed doing the same thing. Personally, I think it's a good thing, if done right.
Yeah because AC's mechanics have the depth of a puddle. That series suffers from similar issues as Civilization, they're clearly out of ideas. Let's recall how people loved Black Flag - and why? Because there was something fresh in it, with proper mechanics.

A good expression. But that is honestly a better reason to take the same basic mechanic and mix up the setting, as the base game has limited replayability. Not that AC is necessarily a good example, as Ubi overcomplicated it.

Anyways, the last game I purchased is CK3. Currently vassalized or conquered from Frankfurt to Kyiv, and the lack of diplomatic skill in my heir is alarming.

Also, why the **** are titles created on succession? That really sucks. CK2 at least didn't do that.

AC is the worst of all the games series in the world (past>futur), i even removed Origins it's too repetitive, the only one that had something stylised btw, graphically pleasant.
I can't understand all the success, which lead me to try this games that i didn't felt my type in the first place.
It's just BAD overhaul.

Wolf YoungBlood i'm playing, it's good.

You can patch the 51 big files to fix the game:

Or wait the remaster trilogy:
Also apply mods (Nexus) like :
Disabled Quick-Time Events (if annoying to you)
Outfit Fixes (fix textures)
Shut Up, No Zip and Alister Radio Chatter (if annoying to you)

I am thinking of getting Dead Space remake today, I saw it only at €15. Seems to me I won't be able to run it on my GPU though.
DS Remake is playable on your gpu very well.

Re4 remake and Ratchet & Clank. Quite good games which dont need beefy gpus not like other new titles.
Also, i just get "Still wakes the deep" - Soma influential adventure horror...it is on UE5...yeah....more like UE4 coz i dont see any graphical difference...of course performance was not great and fps counter went below 60 fps :( i had to enable FSR...we can call this - UE5 difference :)
All these new games should never require demanding computers for what they offer.

Update on Sniper elite resistance. I am enjoying and the missions are better than there predecessors. The maps are more open and at authentic mode it's harder than before which I'm happy about. The graphics are also better. It's still a regular sniper elite but with improvements. Just looking forward to the DLC's now.

You're not alone. I'd say it's a clear indicator that the industry is going in the wrong direction. But this thread isn't the right place for an old man rant.

is that a remake/remaster of the original 1990s Screamer? or just something with the same name? loved the original Screamer 1 & 2 back in the day.
