I just find it strange is all, I suppose it doesn't matter, they know what they are doing - I hope lol

Smaller chicken farming setups are less likely to have the means to totally isolate but if a flock gets hit with cases of Avian flu then it's likely that 90% of the chickens will die, but chickens can spread that flu to both humans and cattle and whilst the survival rate of humans and cattle is significantly higher they much more easily spread the virus outside of farms.

A lot of chicken farming is indoors. Big barns with thousands of chickens. Easy to spread diseases there.

It seems the US has even bigger Bird Flu problems than the UK, as at the first week of February they have had to cull 21 million chickens and they are now at the point of importing Eggs from Turkey (NOT the bird

) as prices in some regions have increased so much which I suppose pretty much explains why the culls need to happen. RIP Foghorn Leghorn

Because of the risk of Avian Flu mutating and becoming a mammal transferable virus. It has happened and likely will happen again. The culling to minimize the risk of it spreading. It sucks, but must be done.

I don't think so. Fairly certain that the culled birds are burned or otherwise disposed of in a way that does not enter the human food chain.

This is happening in North America as well, thus our crazy egg prices. Our family is just not buying eggs ATM.

One of my uncles married an Irish lass and that side of the family absolutely hate his guts.... He died of cancer 1-2 years ago and they still hated him. Even his wife and two or three kids too... Needless to say. With him gone, that side of the family is now lost to the archives.

It wasn't the story for me. I just never "connected" with the Castlevania games. Not my jam. And many people feel the same way. It's not that they weren't great games, or a great series, because let's face facts, quality is quality and Castlevania delivers the good quality. It's the "feel" of them.
