Yeah on my WOLED it flickers but lightly as well, really only notice it badly in space games.

I have a chinese made OLED panel that doesn't flicker at all, but its vrr range (unofficially supported) is also like 51-60hz lol.

Bought an Asrock Fatal1ty Z77 Professional for 18 usd, I always wanted a nice Sandy/Ivy bridge motherboard and I like the black/red color scheme. VRM heatsinks need a lot of cleaning, as this was clearly left in storage for a while. I'll be pairing this with a Xeon E3 1230v2 for 9 USD, and whatever gpu I can scrounge up.

Something unique about this motherboard is the VRM, as this is one of the last applications of an Analog PWM+LF-Pak combo on a high end motherboard (ISL6367 pwm+ 20x NXP PH9230CL LF-Pak TrenchMOS high side + 20x NXP PH2630CL LF-Pak TrenchMOS low side) as everyone pretty much moved onto Digital pwm + Dual N-Fets/Power Stages after Z77 for their high end motherboards.

It also has a lot of legacy IO.(Firewire/IDE/floppy/PCI).

Update on the VRM, it uses NTMFS4927N+NTMFS4935N powerpaks instead of the expected NXP LF-Paks. It is practically the same VRM found on Asrock's X79 motherboards such as the X79 Fatal1ty Professional. PWM controller is still an ISL6367(This is possibly a different board revision):

I haven't tried the 1 in 2 out mode but 2 in 1 out switching works perfectly although I only have 4K@60Hz monitors so I can't test the 8K@120Hz claims.
It comes in 4 different colors and needs USB power (power cable included).

I changed to a new case, and power supply from the air restricted front Phantek case, and EVGA BQ 850. Also I didn’t bother plugging in the iCue hub for the RGB on the fans since the CoolerMaster heatsink fan with the two Corsair Dominator sticks put off plenty RGB light. I was using OpenRGB to sync everything white except the driver was causing issues for Windows 11.

Don't understand that either the smart phone does everything now. The last time I used an actual mp3 players was like 8-10 years ago since I got a smart phone I never looked back.

I didnt know they also made something similar to Scythe Fuma's for better ram clearance and compactness. It looks like SE version does not have 28mm thick middle fan though. I wonder these series performance, still waiting for good reviewers and next gen heatsink (when they arrived). Not that I'd get another one, but I'd like to see TR push CPU cooling even more so we get better products for cheaper prices.

To be honest, this purchase was a gamble but luck was on my side. There is not a single pro review for it, only one guy on some other forum said that performance is similar to Peerless Assasain. In my case, I woul dare to say that I am not seeing any difference between Royal Knight 120 SE and Noctua NH-D15S (with 1 fan) since they are/were on the same CPU with same settings. I see same max boost clock and same peak temperatures in HWInfo. Both are very quiet, much quieter than Fuma 3 which I heard at my friend.
