Hello guys, I just got a really cheap 3070. Since I haven't been on the green side for a couple of years, I have some questions

I understand that the 3000 series does not have official support for DLSS 4 or Frame Generation. However, I have seen several videos using these technologies with this card. How do they do it? Mods? Lossless Scaling? I would like more information about this

Additionally, I'm having issues with filters, they don't work in most games. The last time I used Nvidia, when I had my 1070, I remember the filters worked perfectly in all games

I hope you can clear up these doubts for me. Thanks

It works just fine with DLSS4 SR, RR, and DLAA. The transformer model which most consider superior to the CNN model for SR is also supported but the % perfomance uplift is lesser.

It does not work regardless of mod with DLSS4 frame generation and MFG

As long as the game supports FSR 3.1 you can use DLSS SR with AMD frame generation as you said you can use lossless scaling for frame generation but imo both are worse than native DLSS frame generation.

I don't use filters never have so can't answer that.

There is a commercial mod somewhere that maps FrameGen and such to open APIs from AMD.

No, it is not as good as the real thing. But I am told it's not bad either.

There is a mod dll floating around but it's commercial IIRC, patreon I think. Just maps to AMD frame gen.

Yeah I'm aware but ideally you'd use games with FSR 3.1 frame generation in combination with DLSS4 SR.

I just didn't want the op thinking the mods gave access to DLSS3/4 frame generation.

Yeah probably best to be clear it is not the same tech.
