How can I turn off C1E permanently? The BIOS of my motherboard NZXT N7 Z790 does not provide an option to turn it off completely. Maybe this can be done through the registry somehow?

Using the ThrottleStop program, I can do this, but I need to keep it turned on all the time after each computer startup. My motherboard cracks, beeps, and makes other unpleasant noises when C1E is turned on.

And once you turn off C1E, the voltage immediately stops jumping inadequately and the computer runs smoothly and stably in games and programs. Absolutely no manipulation of the BIOS helped. Neither fixing the voltage nor the frequency, disabling the power-saving functions via the BIOS, does not help anything, except disabling C1E via ThrottleStop.

disabling C1E via ThrottleStop
That is your only option. There is no registry setting that I know of to toggle C1E off.

Software has to access a specific register within the CPU. This is only possible when you are using a signed driver like ThrottleStop uses.

Leaving ThrottleStop running 24/7 is not that bad. Use the Stop Data option and it will be very efficient. You can also disable any or all of its system tray icons so you do not have to look at it. You might be able to use the Task Scheduler so ThrottleStop starts and runs in the background before you log in. I prefer to use the Task Scheduler option, Run only when the user is logged on.
