Well im just saying that I think that both sides are high end and give you similar performance granted it depends on the game that you play.

Haha, yeah all the reviews look good for this chipset. I'm a personally one who wants more than 1 x16 slot, I usually like to have 3 x16.

The 9600gt is a low end card. It may be new, but it's still low end new. With proper modding, the 9600gt can be OCed very well.

The 3850 is still a midranged card in my opinion, but of course, I'm not saying it doesn't have loads of OC potential.

Either way, this board is geared towards a low end consumer.

I would have considered the 9600GT a mid-range card, but then again I forgot about the 8800GT/GTS and the up and coming 9800GT etc etc... so I guess it is a low-end card. I'd call the 8600GT a mid-range and the 8400(GS etc) low-end. I'm straying from the original point now.

I agree to an extent, but I'm not going to compare a 9xxx to a 8xxx to find out which 9xxx is low end. To find out which 9xxx is low end, it should be compared to other 9xxx that are on the horizon.

But yeah, we are off topic.

That's fair, I wasn't really comparing the card just reminding myself that you have the 8800GT as the current mid-range of the nVIDIA's GFX chips.

As I said before, I'll be interested to see nVIDIA's take on their Hybrid IGP chipset.

That would be interesting to see nvidia's response. I think AMD is going to find a lot of applications for this hybrid igp chipset in prebuilt manufactures.

turn off is supported by the new 38xx line, the 34xx line and hopefully the new graphics cards.

The 2900xt isnt planed to shut off when working in a 780 Board.
