How are you guys overclocking in crossfire? I have to OC one with rivatuner and the other with CCC. My max for my seconed card is 877, rivatuner won't overclock the slave card because it only detects the 2d clocks :mad:

I don't know how to do that either, after you said that i looked and noticed i was only oc one card.

How do i do both?

and my card (his) crashes at 850core 1350mem

So if i can figure it out, i want both to run at 837core and 1342 mem because they will both do it.

i think im going to re-install the server os

not sure, for I'm running 837/1156 for 24/7 (i can get those clocks for both cards in CCC), i know i can go higher on the ram..

Heres my problem!! :mad:

I was playing COD4 for about an hour, when a solid brown screen with light brown lines popped up. I had to press the reset button.

Is this graphics related? This same exact screen happened when i was running a single card with my x2 5600+ rig. So i know its not CPU related. These clocks should be stable without question, i would think. I don't think one is getting too hot, the fans ramp up with the temperature. :banghead:

What do you guys think? (the other time, i was playing GTA SA)

i found out how to oc both cards, havent actually tried yet as i am at work.

The amd program for graphics cards are suppose to oc both cards i read.

sweet! I had to fix mine up a bit, its been acting weird, random lock ups, no blue screens, but still not good. I leveled out at 3.51 - > 1.375 volts. And after vdroop its at 1.3 @ 100 load

Heres my problem!!

Im not saying its the temps, but the fans dont turn up until the core gets to like 85 degrees. Its worth it to crank the fans in RT.

. 'tis 3ghz, but i forgot to run SuperPi in the background... always end up having pics showing my PC with 2ghz instead of three

I've always OC both in CCC, but then again I was still on the Crysis Hotfix drivers. Not sure about recent developments. Seem like the new Cats are a different breed.

BTW, my Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 is on it's way! w00t!

Great boards m8 id have another any day but i wanna see what the asus maximus is like ive heard rma horror stories on them but im gonna definatly buy from ebuyer there normally the best when it comes to rma they pickup free also

True, but i think the temps are in the 60's/low 70's on load. Which is about normal for stock coolers.

My second thought was the CPU, but orthos has been going for 1 1/2 hours. I would think it would have already failed if that were the cause.

The only other thing i can think of would be the G MCH or memory voltage. I have set the G MCH from +0.025v to +0.05v (stock g mch voltage would cause lockups about 5 minutes after loading windows, i had to up the g mch voltage after adding crossfire)

i got my proc to 3.8 with 1.52 vcore..is that to high?

im at 3.65 @ 1.5v now

i cant oc the cards, drivers fail every time.

i dont see why thats too high, hell I ran mine 3.8 @ 1.62 volts for about 4 weeks. After vdroop it was at like 1.55. But I was on water- if your temps are below 60 I wouldnt worry
