Alienware this afternoon upgraded its Area-51 gaming tower to take advantage of NVIDIA's latest video offerings. The new system uses NVIDIA's just-introduced nForce 790i Ultra SLI mainboard and now has the option of adding a single GeForce 9800 GX2 graphics card. These two GPUs on a single card will boost the price by $600. The new system will be available on April 10th.

You Guys, I really like TPU its a great community and resource. But sometimes I can't help but think that some of the news posts on the front page is e relevant garbage/ adds. I mean how many people here are even remotely interested in buying an Alienware computer. None cuz computers build by these companies are targeted at suckers. So please pretty please, lets not pollute the front page, and keep the site focused. Unless you can find a way to get Alienware to pay you for the advertising!

I think it's relevant. It shows that the day the card launched, a major retailer of enthusiast PCs is already offering it as an option. Personally, I'd like to have even more news than we do now. It's news. The more the merrier. If you don't want to read about Alienwares, then skip over the article. I don't see a problem with it. And I hate nVidia

Well calling what malware does for us "garbage" isn't very nice. That doesn't sound like a suggestion to me.
