i don't like stock cooling on anything though lol. i hate stock.

but i set the fan speed to be 98% all the time and the clock at 850 so im going to try that

i keep trying to edit my his bios but it wont flash it to 823. it says its flashed but then its stock of 780mhz

Please take notice that one has a much higher fan speed and is, therefore, louder.

If you do try one of them out, let me know what your impressions of it are since i'm considering buying one of these myself.

they are flashed to 837 and 850 and crash. im not sure if they need more volts or what.

the Diamond is the one Erocker made for me and it was stressed with the OGL fur benchmark for 10min straight not one error. i think its my his causinig problems. but not sure tbh

Alright, finally got around to running 3DMark06 and post up the screenshot. Here it is:

Notice my CPU settings. VCore is default, Two of the cores at 2.66GHz, the other two at 2.46GHz. Stable, and not as hot. Win, win. Score of 11,569k. Single Sapphire dual slot HD 3870 850MHz Core / 1250MHz Memory. Riva Tuner keeping things cool, fan set to 51% duty cycle. 43C idle, 60C full load. OS is Vista 64Bit. Drivers are Catalyst 8.4's. I will run my CrossFire setup tomorrow once the card gets in.

Well, before you fix it, I have been able to improve my score by a few points. I have been quite impressed with this new GEIL PC2 6400 that I have just gotten. I thought I was gonna have problems with them since they require 2.1 - 2.3 volts (online they said 1.9V) and my Asrock mobo only tops out at 2.0, but I have been running them at a FSB of 310 at 1.9 V with settings as tight as 3/3/3/6 and they have been great. I read a few reviews about them and they also have been said to run as high as 1090 with 2.1V and timings of 5/5/5/15. I am hoping to use them with a Abit p35 pro and my e6700 by the end of the year, just saving up for a pcie card and new psu!

Freak, you might think Im crazy, but you should volt mod your cards!!!

I can game stable at 960/1296 all day! Its awesome! I have run 3dmarks successfully at 999/1280 - just limited now by my proc :mad:

That way you could just bump the voltage to 1.4 ~ 1.45 and run 900+ stable.

I run 960core on 1.5v. I havent quite worked out the lowest possible voltage yet, still have to do that!

Does it look anything like your diamond?? I soldered to the wrong point the first go around, but I was able to remove it no problem!!
