hey i just noticed that the kit on newegg looks completely different then the ones you have here...i like the ones u showed but it makes me wonder if i get them witch ones they will be?

When I looked just now they both seemed the same. Perhaps it was just a matter of lighting between the two pictures? If there is another difference, I can't see it...

I think it's just very shiney and catching the light better in the NewEgg picture. Let's see what nflesher has to say for sure...

hmmm i dunno it seems pretty clearly that the ones on newegg has white letters and the ones nflesher reviewed had black...i like the black better anyway...but if its what u say it is they must have some very bright lights over at the egg

these perform any better than regular ballistic tracer ram of the same speed?

they are higher density 2 GB Modules for a total 4 GBs in the kit

jbunch, these are indeed the same kit, as I mentioned in the review these heatspreaders absolutely love lighting angles, the red portion can appear from black all the way to cherry red, as well as the serrated silver trim and letter appearing almost black to white all depending on the light reflected
thanks for trying to explain t_ski ;)

On regular ballistix should be D9GMH but on tracers should be "hadpicked" D9GHM or D9GKX whose OC better.
Thats on (2x) 1Gb modules, I don't know what situation is on 2x 2Gb kits...

Nate on the egg

Pros: Excellent kit overall, look amazing and overclock very well for high density 2 GB modules. Can run stock clocks and timings as low as 1.8V so should boot just fine on any board. Can run over 1100 MHz at CL5 on stock 2.2V.
Cons: Don't respond much to increases in voltage (upping voltage has little effect on overclock).
Other Thoughts: See my full review at TechPowerUp
