anybody got an asus 4870x2 TOP master and slave bios

Yeh, they are coming in by e-mail from Taiwan by this afternoon. 12 hour time difference ya know. I can't wait either But you can be assured that we will share them with everyone UNLIKE OTHERS.

Sorry to have to tell you ...even our friend inside Asus can not get these bios. They were told by Taiwan that Asus does not make these cards. They are made special for Asus by ATI and that’s why ATI & Asus only have so many of these available. Leave it to ATI to finally come up with an all winning card & then give you no way to over clock the son of a gun. I'm sorry, but if you can make a stock 4870x2 run stable at 1000/1200 without any mods by doing nothing more than flashing the Bioses, I'll show my ar$e.

We are running LN2 dude so clocks over 900 are no problem. Just sick of flashing everytime we have to go up with a different core clock.

Hey guys, came across this post rather late. I have two Asus EAH4870X2 and I used the following link to flash them to the top model. I also called Asus and confirmed with a vga expert that the bios is the ONLY thing that seperates their board from the top model and standard. After flashing I got about a 20% performance gain in 3Dmark06 and Vantage. I also load games faster. The card is also much more overclockable now. I heard this works on other cards too.
