So is there an older 16x AA I haven't heard of?
unlocking the power of the processor core of the GeForce GTX 260 OC to accelerate the most demanding system tasks such as video transcoding for an up to 7x performance enhancement over traditional CPUs

I didn't realize the card was locked without it.
I also have no clue what a "traditional" cpu is.

the GIGABYTE GV-N26OC-896H-B has the power to immerse you in the experience.

No, my monitor does that.

I will continue to hate these copy pastas until someone steps in and makes a real article, I'll summarize this whole thing for those who don't read or need tl;dr:

Gigabyte is selling a GTX 280 with 216 shaders, it does all the normal shit a regular one does, it is slightly overclocked for no reason, only to generate more heat.

that's it... that's all you need to here, I don't need all this cuntpasted marketing crap.

PR's are copy-pasta's, that's how they're meant to be. Un-edited. If you want an article out of it, here goes:

Gigabyte launched a 100% reference GTX 260 with 216 shaders. [end]

I worded my entire statement wrong, I apologize for being angry.

I don't mean to be mad at you, I'm mad at the original creators of this crap. So maybe if the PR wasn't worded terribly and contained so little info and so much bullcrap, I wouldn't be as mad.

Marketing, it's all crap.

Sell waffles, when everyone in your neighbourhood is selling waffles that are 100% identical to yours, make real sure people buy your waffles over others'. Marketing to the rescue.

True -- it's not Gigabyte's fault that Nvidia doesn't allow as many non-reference designs to be made as other graphics companies. Are there any non-reference GTX 200's at all?

@Necrofire

I too hate all the marketing crap, but it's common bussiness and no single company is free of it. You will ge mad if you reply to every single PR... :ohwell:
