Sorry for being late, but thank you. No, it hasn't been very happy, unfortunately. I lost my mom due to recently discovered sarcoma, it all happened within 3 months. From being diagnosed, to having tests, undergoing a surgery and then ultimately, losing the battle.

    Thanks :toast:

By the way ... Since you are still "hiding" your profile, would you at least tell me when is your b-day so that I can repay you the same way?

No offense, but, I don't put personal info out on the net that can be used to access any accounts. Just me being careful.

No offense taken, just wanted to return the same favor that's all.

Wow, thanks a lot man ... again! :) I wanted to check your bday info on your profile (hoping I would return the same favor), but apparently it's not visible?

Well, either way thanks bunches. If it means you anything, you're one of the three people to remember my b-day. Part of the reason why I don't really care much about my bdays... Everyone else either forgot about me, passed away or moved on with their lives.
Covid 19 outbreak, devastating earthquake, insane weather conditions & temperature changes ... what's next?! And to think I was hoping for better & optimistic 2020 :(

Yeah, whilst here in the UK we have not had any earthquakes or large scale fires lots of people are saying that mankind has recently had earthquakes, fire, floods and now the plague …………… what's next?

    That's interesting... *sigh*

TBH, I was too busy thinking (and focusing) on domestic disasters. Like I said, first the Covid 19 outbreak which (I suppose) didn't cause as much casualties & mayhem here in Croatia as it did in other countries, throughout the entire world.

But then we got struct by the nasty earthquake, at around 5.5 Richter scale. Plenty of damage, including my own apt. building... Then the aftershocks, which are still showing up from time to time (it's been around 10 days since the main earthquake). Really makes you wonder how much more of this can you handle?! And then we got snow ... we didn't get any snow, throughout the entire winter until now!
To anyone posting on VinylEngine forum, here's a word of caution... It seems that as of earlier today, my account was permanently banned due to "trolling", or so they claim. What really happened is that I expressed my personal opinion, regarding so called "audiophiles", aka ignorant folks who insist that everyone should be using high-end professional audio equipment because everything else is garbage & not worth time

Not sure I'll bother with new acc though, I got what I needed... Stevenson protractor that is, as for the actual forum & interaction it's only a matter of time before I'll end up fighting over the same issue all over again! I do feel bad for those who came to VinylEngine searching for answers and/or asking for help. I posted a similar topic myself not so long ago, asking them which TT should I buy, but ...

... ended up empty & fighting these guys, over the exact same issue. I asked them to recommend one model between Audio Technica LP3, LP120 and/or Denon DP-300F and they ended up recommending Rega, Pro-Ject and/or genuine Technics *eye roll* So it's kinda pointless really, you'll have better luck Googling & asking for help on YouTube, within comment section.

It's been great & I had loads of fun here at TPU but with that being said, I'm "retiring" from retro computers & moving on, mainly offline.
Hey, just thought you might be interested in some of my "donated" stuff-further your cause some-AGP has almost driven me crazy, every time I get something that might run SETI or Milky way in a couple things I have it's a no go, so I have an abundance of them if you want some of them. No cost to you.

Hi there! Thank you very much for the kind offer (and also thank you for your time & patience to follow me), but you should know that I'm from EU, Croatia.

So, as much as I love free donations & retro gifts, I don't think it would be worth the postage, since those cards are very sensitive & fragile to ship around :(
TBH, I don't look at these things myself, only when I want to message someone on rare occasions or find a certain post from that TPU member.
