This one highlighted a common problem in the tech industry, and not just the y2k problem. It's that when we find a problem and blow the whistle, the problem gets fixed and then everyone wonders what all the fuss was about. Therein lays the crux: we blow the whistle, we fix the problem, no more problem. Blowing the whistle works.
